It's super unlikely, but if it turns out to be Pope Dolan, New York is gonna flip it's shit for the next 24 hours.

#4 Edited by Canteu (2190 posts) - 2 months, 7 days ago

Hopefully it's the pro-abortion, pro-contraception, pro-gay marriage pope this time.

I wouldn't hold my breath. The progressiveness of the Catholic Church, while better than it has been, still has a lot to be desired.

That was quick, wasn't the one last time like 2 months or something

Vinny is the favourite right? He wins every poll I've ever taken part in so I assume he wins every vote everywhere.

Someone with PhotoShop needs to get on this.

My guess: I'll be a fairly old white dude.

How will this metamorphosis occur when the pope is announced?

#20 Posted by zudthespud (3204 posts) - 2 months, 7 days ago

I'm going to take a wild guess that the new pope is an old white dude that doesn't like women, gays and condoms.

The last election of the Pope was pretty quick, like a couple of days.

Are those babies going to pour holy Gatorade on the new Pope, or is something else going on?

Considering Pope John Paul II was the first non-Italian Pope in almost 500 years, I don't think we'll see an American Pope for a while.

It's actually a part of the Pope's contract.

Hopefully it's Peter the Roman.

Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.

Is there anything you don't hate, Pope Francis?

"I don't hate vests."

Breaking news. Angry looking old man chosen.

Argentinian Pope. Ding Level-up!

I've been following this even though I'm not religious whatsoever. The whole pomp and circumstance and tradition just fascinates me.

I bet it's John Paul II again, he was well good at it.

They should let Dennis Rodman stand on the balcony with the Pope.

In honour of John Paul, they elected cardinal George Ringo (ish)

So this one's the Anti-christ, right? Year 2013, 13th day. Wednesday. All the signs point to it.

They stopped doing Crusades a long time ago apparently, I guess they got bored.
