I take it 'top-shelf' doesn't mean 'pornographic' in the US?  Shame.

New site looks great. I'm happy I'm a member of Whiskey Media, keep up the good work guys!

I like the old design better if I'm honest. May not have been as easy to use, but it looked cool.

Am i the only one that wants the brown stuff on GB and every whiskey site? that's some serious coolness.

Yeah, then all of Whiskey Media would look next-gen.

Haven't seen the bar area in a while, they're filling that in nicely.

Love the site design. Great job to Dave and the rest of Top Men who worked on it.

If I was an investor, I would be all over Shelby Bonnie's business speak. It could be worth MILLIONS. Oh, and the website design is nice too.

Looks nice. And damn Dave's inbox is full. I now see why he doesn't respond to PMs often.

"Four" properties eh? Poor poor Anime Vice.

It's mostly notifications. I have to keep everything on to make sure it works.

When are the proper HTML5 sites coming up then?  I wanna surf GB and Anime Vice in full non-flash and full HTML5 glory.

Looks Grrrrr-eat!

Nice layout.

That guy from Liverpool in the member's photos bit might mention this himself, but the county he's from is spelled Merseyside, not Meyerside.

But they still haven't made a music site yet. -___-

The layout looks very nice. Dare I say, even classy.

One step closer to becoming a Global Superpower!

The picture of Vinny leaning on the bar made me laugh hard.

I really love the design.  Crisp, fluid, and neat.

Whiskey Media > all

I wonder what Whiskey could expand their sites to...music seems obvious, but I'm not so sure it fits with their approach. You need a full crew to cover an industry as diverse as the music industry.

Oh, and I love the new redesign. The new emphasis on behind the scenes features is awesome and something I've been wanting for awhile.

Please change the grey on giantbomb into brown

They have already said no to a music site multiple times.

We all know what the new Whiskey site will be:  food.

#39 Posted by dungbootle (2458 posts) -

If they even make a new Whiskey site, I would contribute the fuck out of it. Unless it was something that I have absolutely no knowledge of, like wrestling.

wow nice

Several new websites? I can't imagine what they would expand to other than the obvious other entertainment medium, Music.

cool man.

@CitizenKane: I'm guessing just cause it would be farr to expansive and require a lot of work cause there's just so much music out their without some kind of focused area it would be pretty hard. Maybe they'll do a sports site and my dream will come truee.

I would be so happy if they made a sports site, but I don't know how much interest there is around the WM office for sports.  Also, all of today's WM sites kind of correlate to each other, and sports would kind of feel like an outlier.

Having said that, I do hope they make a sports site.  I know a lot of the community loves sports, so a WM sports site would already have an established fan base.  Just thinking of a WM sports site makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

IT WOULD BE TOP SHELF IF THERE WAS A MUSIC SITE.

#46 Posted by natetodamax (19212 posts) -

Site looks fantastic

When I linked my account, it made my name all lower case on that site... Can that be fixed?

As long as they don't just focus on sports that are popular in the USA (football, baseball) I'm all for a sports site. I think a book site could also be interesting.

They have discussed a book site before, but I don't know if anything came from it.  That would also be a great site that I would frequently visit.  I need to catch up on a lot of reading.

is it bad I want to be there more than I want to be in my own home?
