I'm in the Boston area so yea, getting smacked at some point tomorrow they say.
Not too concerned right now but ready if it gets crazy.
As long as that tree on my yard doesn't smack straight into my second-floor bedroom I should be cool. Even if the power goes out I'll just catch up on SMT: Devil Survivor 2 on my DS. No classes until Wednesday at the earliest.
First an earthquake and now this. Ugh, the end times are around the corner I guess. Anyone have spare coupons for food buckets?
I really don't think this is going to be anything but some rain and high winds, but I'm going to make sure to charge all my portables in the off chance that we lose power. All the local news channels are going nuts with warnings, but they do this every time there is a hurricane in the US and we never get anything up here but some rain. If this is my last post on here then I guess I was wrong.

I'm pretty inland in PA (near pittsburgh area) I don't think we are going to get much some heavy rain and some slightly high winds. People are acting like its the end of times. I'm going to spend the day playing forza and not giving a fuck.
As far as I understand, this one is "only" a cat 2, while Katrina was a cat 5 - so I guess it won't be as bad as some medias have cranked it up to be..?
Sup tricks. I'm in Boston as we speak they are closing the MBTA Service at 2 PM. So I will be leaving work early to go to my storm bunker and get hammered on schanpps?*
*(Prob don't have any schnapps_
@The_Laughing_Man: Its so crazy when this happens. Like, do you think people use that much bread in non storm events? Or is it like, shit its going to rain/snow I need like four loaves of bread for french toast.
Someone bought 20 gallons of milk three days ago.@The_Laughing_Man: Its so crazy when this happens. Like, do you think people use that much bread in non storm events? Or is it like, shit its going to rain/snow I need like four loaves of bread for french toast.
anybody see the video of the fellow jogging around DC this morning? It was mildly entertaining. Also:

Almost... creepy.
I will be following the example set by our very own @Sweep and will be getting my fitness on despite the storm.
Baltimore here. Not worried about property damage, just losing power for days. Last storm we had BGE left people without power from anywhere from several days to two weeks. It was kind of a surprise storm, but that was still nuts. I just don't want to have a repeat.
Also I knew shit got real when they closed the NYSE this morning. I can't remember that ever happening.
