"Wow! This is a powerful computer!"
486 with DX66 Processor
400MB Hard Drive
4MB RAM.
So... Doom or Quake wasn't out in 1990. It wasn't fast enough for porn. And there weren't many users so there wasn't much in the way of forums.
...just out of curiousity, what the hell did people do with the internet in 1990?
EDIT: Netscape!?

Woah! Reminds me of Giant Bomb Dot Com! It's a website on the Internet! You should check it out!
shit that made my day.
I'll hop right on to Netscape and send some "E-Mails" telling everybody about how America Online's "keyword" system makes surfing the web fun AND easy!
Thanks to America Online, I can get weather updates, sports scores, and news about my favorite new shows, like Friends and The X-Files! I can even play games like Checkers and Hearts with people around the globe!
That first video is totally not from 1990, more like 1994...that kind of internet didn't exist back then. Netscape wasn't even a company in 90. Man, these vids bring you back...

Same, I laughed so damn hard
How things have changed, now Jeff knows so much about Shin Megami Tensei games.
Man, you throw dark!
You kids today and you're newfangled internets. Back in my day we didn't have pictures or sound and you had one color choice; green.
The thing that really gets me is the last tidbit the news announcer says. "...the 20 cents [newspaper] street edition." That's up there with 99¢ a gallon gasoline. Of course I think 2600 video games cost something like $35. That would be about $89 today...actually 20¢ is equal to 50¢ according to the US Inflation calculator, so I guess it's more my perception than what I'm paying in the larger scheme of things. Gas is still about a buck more expensive than it was back then though even with inflation figured in.
The Giant Bomb forums are meant to be a place of discussion, not a video gallery. Just posting a few videos and then telling everyone else to post a bunch of videos does not a discussion make. This thread is YouTube spam and as such violates the forum rules. I'm locking this.
Kayaking friends.
