Just curious as to some of the things that you guys/gals have won from some sort of contest.

The hearts of millions... or at least hundreds.

I won a pair of shoes a few years back, haven't bought a pair since.

I won a BMX bike in first grade for not missing  a single day of school.Thing was really heavy and looked really expensive.A few months after I got it,I popped both the tires and somehow bended the front wheel.We ended  up leaving it in a apartment dumpster.

My family won a Nintendo 64 and a TV back in the day. That was a pretty sweet deal.

I once won a impressive Easter hamper while getting drunk at an RSL during a trip to Merimbula. A bunch of us went to have a meal, then a mate won the seafood platter. The next thing to be drawn was the Easter hamper, which was a blue plastic washing basket filled with loads of chocolate stuff. The number got called, and none of us had the right ticket. But then the person who should have won never fronted, and I won on the redraw.

I then went on to get completely drunk, win $100+ on the pokies and then spend $200+ on booze. Fell asleep in the shower when I got home, but at least we had a lot of free chocolate and prawns to help me through my hangover the next day.

I won a zboard from On The Spot once. I just came home one day and found it propped up against my door. I haven't used it at all.

I won Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within HD from Joystiq a few months ago. Then, recently, I won a Sweet Tooth action-figure signed by the Twisted Metal team. It's being shipped here as we speak.

I also won Littlebigplanet 2 from Subway a while back. Now THAT was a victory.

I'm currently about $45 in the black as far as scratch tickets go. So I don't plan on buying another one in my life, thus meaning I will have officially won the lottery.

A Sega Dreamcast and a few games. The first and last thing I've won...

I've won a few trophies and medals boxing and a few football (soccer) trophies as well. I have a couple of running medals and a third place medal from a smash brothers tournament, embarrassingly beaten by my younger brother.... Kirby just doesn't match up well with Wolf! I won a game and various other prizes from a time I came second in ONM Britain's greatest Nintendo gamer competition and though I didn't win anything I played games on tv a bunch also. Oh I also won a free copy of pokemon diamond and a free easter egg for going to my local store with some friends dressed as game characters for there anniversary. I think that's everything, I got the kings pack dlc from the behemoth in a give away but I don't know if that's the same as winning something?

I won 800 Ms points through a download and win sweepstakes one time. That was bananas considering the odds.

I won lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate events for the PS2.

I won the John Drake photoshop competition here on Giant Bomb which got me a selection of Rock Band 3 DLC tracks. That was pretty cool ^___^

I won a PSP once from a Gamespot competition I randomly entered about 3 years ago. Not bad at all.

42 inch Flat-screen TV, Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray, a few T-shirts, Ghostbusters the game and probably something smaller.

A bunch of stuff over the years. And games from friendly users on Giantbomb!

I won an xbox 360 premium system with kamel elements of power and need for speed most wanted from mountain dew back in 2005. I got it two weeks before the launch date, it was fucking awesome when I won that. I also recently won $175 in subway money.

I won a gym bag full of weed once when I stuck a knife in some asshole's ribs.

And I won 800 MS points a few months ago for something. Don't remember what, though.

I enter a lot of contests and I've won some good stuff. Yesterday I won Portal 2 on Steam, Brutal Legend and Tomb Raider Underworld for the 360, a 360 controller, and a controller charging stand.

I won a Wii from my swim team's raffle.

• I once won $20 on a lotto ticket.
• Back when Anime Vice still existed I won a DVD from them.
• I won some DVD from a contest someone on this site did involving photoshopping.
• Back when they gave away free pop if you got the winning pop cap I used to win those all the time.

I won my choice of tablet from an iPad 1, Motorola XOOM, or Samsung Galaxy Tab from work for selling more than 10 tablets last month. I chose the XOOM.

nothing until very recently i wont a kinect from youshape fitness/facebook contest. so now i've got two kinects. :P

I won a speedway gift card at an ex girlfriends prom.

I actually won the privilege to be a Final Fantasy XIV alpha tester.

I gave up after 5 minutes of trying to find the button to get into the offensive stance.

Early 1997, a Swedish television show called Web-TV was on, and I was announced the winner in a competition telling the hosts what Beavis and Butthead would do on their show, and began waiting for the promised copy of the Oddworld clay-mation game. I'm still waiting. I've got a copy of the VHS as well as a small VCD cut of the winning segment where my name is announced together with my contribution, when I get bored enough I'll track the people down and see if we can do something about it.

Contests hate me. I have to buy stuff. Sad face.

In all my 35 years I've won two things: $100 at a raffle, and concert tickets on the radio. That is all.
