Well, he's definitely got showmanship, but he can't sing. Although people have done pretty well for themselves coming off these xfactors & things with showmanship. We've had people like Chico and The Cheeky Girls who can't sing, but have made a fair bit of money.
I don't think its fake but I find the new system to be pretty cruel and insensitive. I get that these people go of their own free will but the judges only see 2-300 of the so called thousands of auditionees(????) the producers obviousy go up and down the lines looking for unusual and laughable acts to fit in with genuine talent. and I'm the first to despise the music these shows creates but there is definately talented people in there. But now instead of them crushing these kids and making a joke of them infront of 40 or so people ina room now they do it with a whole theatre/stadium it's kinda disgusting that someone thought that would be a good idea and I as a viewer am partly to blame, yeah I watch the earlier rounds... just for the rubbish acts that believe theyre special because their mum or some friends told them they had a beautiful voice after hearing them hum a pussycat dolls song one day. but making someone who shouldnt be on a school stage let alone a stadium stage mumble out some nonsense while hundreds of people laugh is quite obviously not that far removed from bullying at school. just ona grander scale....
If you cover his entire body with a paper bag, it'd be much more bearable. That man needs to work on his image loads.
For the record, I kept my eyes closed throughout most of that performance so I could objectively hear his voice. It's wasn't horrendous, but it needs work. I wouldn't buy anything he made song-wise.
I must say, that was somewhat entertaining. Whether he is fake or just plain mad, I am sure he will progress in that show because, face it, those shows don't really rely on talent anyway. All it is is style.
