After tackling best-ofs for 1UP Yours, it's time to take on another 1UP Network podcast -- GFW Radio. I think we largely take it as self-evident that GFW Radio is one of the greatest podcasts produced, regardless of genre, and certainly one of the best gaming podcasts. Here's Jeff Green, Shawn Elliott, Darren Gladstone, and Ryan Scott in all their glory. This show is a little bit shorter than our usual, but only because the GFW shows clocked in at well under an hour long in 2006. It's a fantastic listen.

Glad we're finally back to gaming podcasts! What's the next show btw?

Thank you so much for putting these shows together!  It must take an interminable amount of time.  Your efforts are very much appreciated though.

Glad you got to my favourite podcast ever. Thanks for doing this. Should be an interesting listen considering it's accepted that they didn't really hit their stride until 2007.

I really regret not hearing about that podcast until it was over.

The next two shows have already been mastered, but we're holding on them since we release two shows a month. The next is for Too Beautiful to Live, and the one after that is covering the first twenty-five episodes of This American Life. I think the This American Life show is the best we've done so far.

Sooner rather than later; actually, the first Bombcast episode we'll end up doing is the best of 2011, but I'm anxious to get to 2008-2010.

@ZanzibarBreeze: Do you have an alternate download? That one drops to 10 Kbs almost instantly. It starts fine, but around 15% it slows down to a crawl.

For anybody else looking to pick this up, the new download should work.

Same problem for me. This time it's at 20 KBS though.

I just downloaded the entire thing at a steady 700~800kbs. It might have to do with your location, or some other factor, but I think the blip.tv server (their end) is fine. Sorry about that.

@ZanzibarBreeze: It happens. Was just letting you know in the off chance it was a problem with your hosting.
