I can't believe that article says about Reservoir Dogs using tricks to cover up the bad story when that is exactly what Pulp Fiction is.
The Dark Knight (It's great, but it's not "BEST MOVIE EVAR" great...not at all)
Juno (The story has points of creepiness and Ms. Juno is way, way, way too witty for her own damn good...always has that perfect reply to everything.)
The Titanic (Really, what else do I have to say...)
Wall-E (I really enjoyed the movie, but once the human aspect started on the ship the movie suffered. The lack of spoken language during the first half was great, but I found the second half to be just "ok")
A Clockwork Orange (I just really didn't like this movie at all)
Scarface ( I found the purposeful overacting to be annoying rather than good)
...I can't exactly think of others off the top of my head, at least not films that were really rated high. I personally think the last Indiana Jones movie was one of the worst films of the year, but I don't think it was that highly rated etc..

I think there's a pseudo-masochistic pleasure one gets out of partaking in a flame war. Nothing is ever settled, and both parties get to vent/build/vent once more their frustrations.
Name calling ensues, feelings are hurt, people move on with chips on their shoulders. But, alas, we do it anyhow.
That is a horrible list. Seeing Apocalypse Now as the most overrated movie of all time is just incredible. That is one of my favorite movies of all time and a masterpiece. Reservoir Dogs is great too. If I say any overrated movie, it would be Juno. NOT APOCALYPSE NOW!

Definitely Juno. It's not real at all. I fucking hate that movie...

Imagine you got a girl pregnant. Imagine the girl telling her father that she was pregnant. Picture the father's reaction. Now compare it to that in the movie.
Seriously if Heath Ledger didn't die people wouldn't be going crazy over his "amazing" performance. And don't get me started on Juno, Im 17 and I know no teenagers at my high school of 3,000 students that talk like that. And Iron Man just sucked.

That's a terrible justification. Imagine you're on the police force. Imagine going to visit your wife at work. Imagine terrorists take over the building. Now compare that to Die Hard. It doesn't work, mate.

I actually agree with it. Personally, I loved it, but it wasn't particularly great by any "objective" standards (if there are any with a medium like this).

Juno as a film was too self-aware. It was like it was trying too hard to have that indie tone and feel about it. Again, I liked Juno, despite its pretentiousness, but it was not a great film by any means.
