Trading Ubisoft Keys for Steam Keys legit? - Off-Topic

I figured I'd rather ask here first before I attempt it, but is this okay?

I recently purchased a new video card and it comes with codes for 3 games through Ubisoft but I'd much rather have steam keys so everything is linked to that account proper. (plus, I like having all the steam achievements linked together) Is this something that people would be interested in? (I would want the same game simply for Steam)

Well if its a ubisoft game it doesn't have steam achievements, it only has Uplay achievements. So the whole achievement argument is kinda void. As for trading, that opens both sides up for getting ripped off. Not just because the keys may not work, but also they may be stolen keys. There's also a site dedicated for helping people save money and trade video game items, Cheap Ass gamer. Try there.

Huh...well I feel stupid for even posting the question then. (I probably should have done a bit more research) I'll check out Cheap Ass gamer though, might be what I'm looking for. (Here I was hoping Far Cry 3 had steam achievements. Oh thee well!) Thanks!

EDIT: Just noticed the only Ubisoft game I would be getting would be Far Cry 3, the others are redeemed through Steam.
