So it's Sunday night, I'm flipping through when I stop on Comedy Central. Workaholics is goddamn HILARIOUS! What's a TV show you really like, and wish more people would watch?

#2 Posted by Gabriel (4063 posts) -

More people should watch Breaking Bad.

#3 Posted by Red (5995 posts) -

Parks and Recreation and Community. Two very funny shows, but I know few people who actually watch them.

Quite Interesting. One of the best shows combining humour and interesting facts.

I would have to say that more people should watch Clone Highbecause it's hilarious and I need more people to talk with about it and the other show more people should watch is Futurama just so it doesn't go anywhere again anytime time soon haha.

Happy Endings on ABC. It's a comedy with charm coming out the wazoo.

#21 Posted by TheVeteran13 (1210 posts) -

@RTSlord: It wasn't the best most serious show but it was still a lot of fun to watch. I really hope all the episodes end up on netflix instant eventually

Fringe is fucking awesome and I assume it is on the bubble because it got moved to Friday which is a death sentence for all TV Shows not from the 90's not named X-Files.

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret is a hilarious British show shown on IFC staring David Cross and frequently features Will Arnett.  Can't wait for Season 2.

Superjail on Cartoon Network.  I miss the crazy original animation on Adult Swim.  I love the art style which reminds me of the artwork of Peter Max (Yellow Submarine) if he was a homicidal schizophrenic who just downed a shot glass of LSD.

Trailer Park Boys. It's soooo good.

east bound and down - such a fucken hilarious show who the fuck in their right mind WOULDNT watch this. only 2 seasons and ending on the 3rd upcoming its ashame

I wish that more people I knew would actually watch Breaking Bad. I've told numerous people about this show and they all just stare at me like I have three heads or something.

I also wish I could get more people to watch Community also. Such a funny show that seemingly nobody watches.

#26 Posted by Everyones_A_Critic (6301 posts) -

Weeds. It's popular, and yet no one I know watches it.

#27 Posted by KevinWalsh (63 posts) -

Misfits is like heroes but done right. Its on a much smaller scale and the special effects can be corny, but that show is really really good, nobody watches it. And I know it does pretty well for Starz, but I don't know that many people who watch Spartacus. That show is so well rounded in its pacing, character development, action is very satisfying and cool, more people need to watch it. And having recently watched Blood and Sand again, I would say its right up there with Breaking Bad and Justified as some of the best television out there.

Edit: I completely forgot about Lucky Louie!!!

I wish more people would watch Lucky Louie, or watched it when it was actually on HBO. That was fucking great, and while Louie is just as good, I still love the original show.

#29 Posted by TheKing (835 posts) -

Everyone should watch The Wire.

#30 Posted by bartok (2487 posts) -
@Everyones_A_Critic:  I watch Weeds and the first 3 seasons were awesome.  Then the show went downhill faster then something that goes downhill really fast.  I wish I would of left just like Nancy left Agrestic.

Loads of people watch QI.

Arrested Development

@Mikemcn: Yep that show has a lot of potential for sure, the special effects are brilliant. My only complaint is the actress from Prison Break is kinda crappy. I also felt that the first episodes started off really strong but didn't keep up the same level of quality throughout the rest of the season, looking forward to the second, though.

#34 Posted by Vonocourt (2133 posts) -

Wondershowzen, never not thinking about that show.

#35 Posted by StickyW3b (121 posts) -

Rescue Me
SouthLAnd
Arrested Development
The Sopranos

#36 Posted by Redbullet685 (6045 posts) -

Mad Men. None of my friends have seen it, and I watched the 4 seasons on Netflix in a month.

#37 Posted by amomjc (977 posts) -

Psyche, Arrested Development, and Reaper. Love all three of those shows, all got cancelled, makes me a sad panda to see decent or great shoes run down the gutter because of lack of viewers. Psyche may not have been cancelled though, I'll have to look.

Sure is. I was gonna say Jon Benjamin Has A Van though because I don't think it's getting a second season, unlike Workaholics.

That too. But since that ship has sailed, Louie on FX should get more views.

Fuck yes! Xavier Renegade Angel was also pretty good. PFFR needs to make more shows.

Oh and more people should watch Seaquest DSV. Wait, more people SHOULD have watched it ;_;

@csoup: Psych (without the e, just helping out) hasn't been canceled.

Maybe the title of this thread should have been "GOOD TV shows you wish more people would watch" that way we wouldn't have all these horrible suggestions. LOL

#42 Posted by Thor_Molecules (732 posts) -

Two shows that I think no-one should miss are The Wire, and The Shield.

The Wire is truly one of the best shows of all time, I'd kill for an opportunity to watch these shows again fresh.

Walking Dead, Dexter, Eureka

Yeah, it's not like it has a huge premiere and insane ratings throughout its entire run...oh wait.
#45 Posted by Meowshi (2911 posts) -

How about a controversial answer?

I wish more people watched Glee.

Not because I think it's a high quality show, but because it's one of those shows people always make fun of but have rarely actually watched.  Every time I hear someone dismiss it off-hand as some sort of High School Musical rip-off, you're pretty much saying, "I've never actually watched it, but hey, it's cool to hate things I've never personally experienced!"

Cross Counter

I dont think many people are aware of Louie, one of the most uncompromising, honest and interesting shows on television right now. The studio agreed to lower the budget, but give Louis CK complete(!) Freedom in writing, directing and editing. That alone should make you curious.
#48 Posted by jewunit (1062 posts) -

I really liked Minoriteam.  It was meant to evoke the Marvel cartoons from the '60s and poke fun at the racial undertones inherent to the comics of that time.  It was offensive, but it was never mean-spirited about it.  I wish it had at least had enough of a following to last longer than one season.

Human Target was really  good
