I know this seems random but what twitter app do you use and what OS is it on? For example I'm using Tweetdeck on Android. Thanks in advance for answering the question.

I USED to use Tweetdeck on iPhone until Twitter bought Tweetdeck and then patched Tweetdeck late 2011 to crash to desktop every 30 seconds or so. Tweetdeck is fine on OSX for me though so I don't know what the problem is.

So yeah. Tweetdeck on OSX and the official Twitter app on iPhone.

I'm using old-school, pre-Twitter buyout, yellow TweetDeck on my desktop. "Official" blue Twitter Tweetdeck is awful.

Hey, I'm pretty new to Twitter so excuse me for my ignorance but what's the advantage of using a dedicated twitter app compared to just using a web browser?

I use TweetDeck on my computer, and just the standard Twitter app on my iPad, it's pretty good.

More colums so you can see your listed tweets, mentions and what not without having to click tabs. And you can set little notifications to pop up for mentions or certain tweets. It's just more simplified than anything, no real benefit other than that
