Im actualy intirgued by the concept of mashing together two completely different songs together and find out how the results turn out. So, what in your opinon are songs taht sound good mashed up that maybe you thought wouldnt have? im gonna have to go with my favorite example of Eminems "without me" mashed together with Star Wars "Imperial March" theme.
Two Songs that sound surprisingly good when mixed together?

@McSmunions: I heard the biggie one on the Joe Rogan podcast, very well done.
if anyone wants that full mixtape of Biggie and Sinatra. you can find it here: http://www.datpiff.com/Notorious-BIG-Frank-Sinatra-Blue-Eyes-meets-Bed-Stuy-mixtape.599.html
that site requires a membership to DL tapes, but it's free and you can download like 5 tapes (i think) a day with the free membership.
i actually found it elsewhere but i can't remember now where i got it.
How 'bout some J-Rock mixed with some US Hip Hop?
This is from the description:
Ho-kago Tea Time - Listen!!
Kanye West - Diamonds from Sierra Leone
(which samples Shirley Bassey - Diamonds Are Forever)
the two drum beats are from:
Jurassic 5 - W.O.E. Is Me (World of Entertainment)
Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind
I think it works pretty well. That and Mio is just an awesome vocalist.
Hmm, that's more than two songs. Oh well, thought I would share anyway.
i think you can mash anything up with the Beatles and have it sound awesome. not that NIN is some shitty band.
it's been mentioned on the site before but the Wu-Tang x Beatles mix was great.
Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" and Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London".
Somebody should really mix those into a single song.
2 great tastes that taste great together. only time will tell if anything in this thread will ever surpass this contribution."

No they fucking shouldn't and the person responsible should be shot....
The Cure Vs JayZ by Popchop is pretty damn good.
And now for something completely different.
I happen to think this is one of the best Ive ever heard. The thing is it isn't very far from the original underOATH song.
Loving it thanks, didn't know this was a thing."

Seeing some other classics in this thread kirby/snoop caketown/lil'bigger.
@Kyreo: Sweet, I love me some electronic and apologize is a great track.
When this isn't mashed up both these people suck at whatever it is they tried to do back in the day.
Mashed up it's fucking awesome..
