Video Reviews or Text Reviews?
How does this involve Tekken in any way?
" How does this involve Tekken in any way?yea....i gave up from tekken when i finally realised i WAS to obssesed!so yea no more tekken threads from me!never againOh well, i'll bite.Either really, if the a video is available i'll watch it, if not i'll read the text so I guess if I had to make a decision it would be video. But it also depends who it's from, any of the GB crew and i'll watch in an instant, others perhaps i'll just skim the review and get a general opinion."
Should be an option for both, but being that there's not I chose video. Really it's all dependent of who's doing the review and how interested I am in the game. Too many variables, yet still for whatever reason I voted for video. /shrug
If I had to choose one or the other, I would choose text reviews. However, the thing about video reviews is that there is almost always a text review along side of it, at least there always should be IMO. I enjoy watching the video review first and then reading the in depth text review to get the details after.
I have to go with video reviews, you get some footage to show off the game which could be good points or bad points depending on what the review whats to cover. Its also easier to get the emotion of the review, an example would be Jeff's review of 50 Cent Blood in the Sand, you could tell Jeff just had plain fun playing it even with its faults.
I prefer text reviews, they usually have a thing or two more in there that a video review won't have.
