So I just read on Kotaku that EA has dropped Need For Speed, or is going to. In the last podcast, Vinny predicted that Undercover would be the last Need For Speed title, and he was met with what he has always been met with: Trashin. Now I love some Vinny trashing now and again for some comic relief, even if I do feel a little guilty at times, and I can always expect to see some of his speculations and questions met with some minor trash talk from the rest of the guys. But Vinny won this time! What do you guys think? Does Vinny officially win and get an apology, or am I just crazy?
UPDATE: Vinny still loses in the 12-16-08 podcast? Oof... will he ever win?
Vinny Wins?
"You know what? I think he DOES deserve an apology for that one."
Agreed, give Vinny some slack!
Vinnie gets the official "You Were Right!" award, joining such noble company as Rich Gallup predicting the Halo green 360 and Jeff predicting Pinata Vision. Bravo!
"Yay, Vinny! When it gets off the streets and gets a real job. Now, for teh srius buisness . . . when will the economy stop sucking ass?"
"Good for Vinny , bad for me , I loved Need for speed franchise"NFS was very much a love/hate relationship for me. I loved NFS III: HP on PS1, Underground 1, Most Wanted...but hated just about every other fucking game. I only put up with Pro Street because of the easy ass achievements on it (which I have yet to complete most of as I just can't deal with the slideshow frame rate).
The NFS series has really taken a turn for the worse lately and I'm almost glad to see it being put out to pasture. Nice call Vinny!
