Western films or tv shows which contain a missionary/reverend?

 Hello  guys,

I was wondering which western flicks or television shows are out there having a missionary-ish character in an important role.
Just a character like reverend Smith in Deadwood.
Hope you guys can help me!

Some of the things that spring to mind: V, The Exorcist, Fletch Lives, Dragnet (the terrible movie, not the TV show), Doubt

There Will be Blood, if you consider that a western.

 Nicholas D. Wolfwood
It's an anime sure and more of a steampunk style western of course, but a badass preacher man none the less.

how have you not listed anything with Clint Eastwood in it?  He plays that in a few.  Seriously what's wrong with you people.

The Searchers (1956), Major Dundee (1965), Pale Rider (1985) and Ride the High Country (1962) are a few.

While it may not fit into your western criteria since it's set in 1750s South America, The Missionis something that may be helpful anyway and certainly has the most prominent missionary character I can think of. It's also just a great movie. Other than that, Hell on Wheels, Blazing Saddles, and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly all come to mind, but those are all minor roles.

This and MASH are both great shows.

EDIT: What I mean to say is that Nicholas D. Wolfwood is a great character, but Trigun is not a great show (a bit too whiny as far as I'm concerned). MASH, however, is a great show.

Also, Trigun's creator is a Catholic, if that means anything to anyone.
