Exactly what the title saids, what are your favorite songs right now?

Right now, I am really liking Safe and Sound and Walking on a Dream.

Both are pretty upbeat and catchy.

I've been on a bit of a punk/ska kick lately so for me:

The Ceremonial Snips - Gazebo of Love

Flatliners - This Respirator

Long and grim progressive metal songs by Tool and Opeth right now. Very delightful stuff....

Safe and Sound is fantastic. The whole CD is fantastic. I've listened to it quite a few times and checked out a lot of Capital Cities' remixes on youtube.

Actually, on the subject of Safe and Sound, you linked to a lyrical video but the official video is really well done and a joy to watch. I'd check it out if you haven't.

I'm also really digging this band Chvrches. Namely, Recover. Their debut studio album is coming out next month.

Another song I dig when it comes on is Waves by Blondfire.

Skull Snaps - I'm your pimp

It's been going on a loop pretty much non-stop in my head for the past week.

I edited the post to have the official video, thanks!

I've been listening to this far more than I logically should.

So last weekend I kind of fell into a Youtube hole and the end result was getting really into the Korean group 2NE1.

...that weekend was weird.

The Weeknd:

Belong to the World

Odd Look (Remix)

Love in the Sky

Kiss Land

Pretty much all I've been listening to. If you didn't already notice from my avatar, I'm a huge fan.

Other than that, I still listen to Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City by Kendrick Lamar on the regular. Amazing album. I have Born Sinner by J. Cole but I'm not a huge fan of it. It's good, don't get me wrong, but my tolerance with hearing the same topics from him is growing thin (Hov not giving a shit about him at first, getting a record deal, going to college, etc). Yeezus by Kanye West was pretty mediocre. I mean it's well produced, but lyrically stale and not memorable like his last album. Magna Carta Holy Grail by Jay Z is complete garbage, so I went back and listened to The Black Album. Also, 8-bit Black Album is amazing! Applause by Lady Gaga is kind of catchy I guess. I liked her last two albums but I don't know about this song, it sounds too generic for her. The new Katy Perry song Roar is also kind of whatever. The entire Zedd album - Clarity - is really good. Buzzin' by Overwerk is good as well.

Can't get enough of this at the moment.

It's one of those records where the cover art perfectly captures what the music sounds like.

uh, the spring breakers soundtrack I guess? Nothing specific really.

I've been damn near obsessed with the Kyle Gass Band's stuff on iTunes. I love the D, and Kyle Gass kills it with his own album.

Yeah, Safe and Sound's pretty good as far as things that actually get radio play at my work. Also, dude in the video looks like a white James Harden.

Job Well Done, or really any song from Run the Jewels

ODB by Danny Brown makes me so happy

Man, That beat

Thank you based SRIV.

Also every few weeks I still listen to Christian Dior Denim flow like 20 times in a row

I've really dug this lately, as well as most of Daft punk's RAM. I've also been listening to the stuff in here a lot.

I'm way into heart-wrenchingly sad songs at the moment.

Oh god I'm so depressed.

#40 Edited by RonGalaxy (3266 posts) -

@whitestripes09: I just recently discovered crystal castles, which is why my song is this right now

I think the video cuts some of the song out at the beginning, which is kind of jarring since Ive been listening to this song for like 3 days now

  • Just discovered K.Flay. Digging her stuff hard.

Stromkern - Night Riders

  • One of those bands I'll forget about for years and then remember that their stuff is great.

The Pink Panda - Monopolizer

  • Don't judge me.
