For the past week I have really been into Dubstep because of one of my friends. I used to hate this shit. My favorite song has been this one. Dat drop

Recommend me some better stuff if you are one of those dubstep hipster people.

You found the right guy, or Toad I suppose.

If you like dubstep, you may appreciate Excision - Execute.

And if you like some game music to go along with that dubstep...

Pretty awesome drop in that one.

Pretty much been listening to only 3 bands for the past few weeks, links lead to my favorite songs I guess, pretty hard to choose, especially with the last one.

CKY, these guys deserve an embed being my favorite band of all time, forever.

: Should check out Savant, dubstep with some heavy videogame influences

I re-watched the Ride to Hell: Retribution Quick Look the other day, and have had Rival Sons - Pressure & Time stuck in my head ever since. Kind of want to suggest it to my band as a cover, but not tell them that I first heard it in a crappy video game...

P.S. This thread is awesome, by the way!

I've started digging into Rammstein's catalog a bit and cannot stop listening to the "Reise, Reise" album. Favorite tracks are Ohne Dich and whatever other song I'm feeling at that moment. It should also be said that the most recent Clutch album is bloody fantastic. Here are a couple of highlights.

I've recently said in a music thread I don't like most songs with words in them. That's because I can't relate to the lyrics in almost all songs I hear. Then I recently heard this in the background of a livestream and it kinda gave me the goosebumps.

Cannot handle how well done this track is

Been listening to a lot of Summer Jams since Ryan's passing and the song I've attached myself too the most is "What I've Got" by Sublime. Currently it is my favorite song to listen to, just a good summer, driving, relaxing, blasting in the shower song that works at every moment in my life.

Right now I'm really liking this song...

Phelan- 'Pulse Code Modulation'

(I can't find a video for this one unfortunately. But you can listen to it here.

I've been told I have eclectic taste in music, but I feel I tend to listen to mostly "alternative" rock. A small selection of my favorite songs at present...

By no means all encompassing, but a reasonable selection. I'm also quite fond of the Neighborhood, Tame Impala, the Mowglis, the Black Keys, Alt J.

Oh, and if I had to pick my single favorite song, this is it right here...

This band is soooo fucking awesome. I'm really going hard on a binge of Pop-ish music with female leads.

#92 Posted by UngratefulDead (68 posts) -

The new Arctic Monkey album was pretty funktastic. Is that a word? It is now.

Also, digging through my copies of Rock Band and Guitar Hero the other day I was reminded that this song exists. I am okay with this:

I guess I'm one for strange obscure tastes in music! I've been listening to Bridin Brennan lately, who happens to be Enya's and Moya Brennan's younger sister.

This song gets good at 1:10, then wonderful and haunting-like at 1:26-1:27 ish.

#97 Posted by Sinusoidal (1378 posts) -

This song. I don't even like it that much, it's just been stuck in my head for weeks now.
