Everyone has their guilty cinematic pleasure. What's yours?
I'd have to say Starship Troopers. The movie features horrible acting, horrible battle scenes, and a laughable script, but I still enjoy it. It's satirical view of fascism is something I always find entertaining.
What bad movies do you like?
They Live. If you dont look at it as a bad movie with kickass action and memorable themes, then you arent getting the point.
"Well, I recommend any Steven Seagull movie. They're bad but somehow watchable."I've only seen the Patriot, and it was really bad.
I do admire Seagall's manliness though. Who else can take down a SWAT team in under 45 seconds with nothing but a stapler?
"L said:Oh, it can't be worse than taking out a dozen guys (with guns0 using just his hands and a few objects in The Foreigner. I think I appreciate his physique and style but really, he just needs to be placed in better movies."Well, I recommend any Steven Seagull movie. London. On Rotten Tomatoes it has like 12% and it got featured in a few Worst Movie of 2005 polls, but I think it's a great, fast paced and remarkably tense drama. Also, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin are great. Much prefer them to the serious Batman films, besides TDK. So, yes, I said it; Batman Forever and Batman & Robin > Batman, Batman Begins and Batman Returns.
Spider-Man 3 was a great movie. I have no idea why it's being mentioned along side things as Samurai Cop and Howard the Duck.
"I like the Riddick movies Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick."
Those aren't bad movies. :O
The same goes to the nutter who said Hot Fuzz, that movie rocks my socks off.
"Origina1Penguin said:Well then, you share my tastes. Still, most people think the Riddick movies aren't good. Pitch Black has 54% on Rotten Tomatoes and Chronicles has 30%."I like the Riddick movies Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick."

I have what most consider a good taste in movies. My favorites are Superbad, Batman Begins, Gladiator, The Departed, A Beautiful Mind, Casino Royale, Fight Club, Man on Fire, Children of Men, and the list goes on of highly acclaimed movies.
I just enjoy Vin Diesel movies. He is badass.
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (I assume most people don't like this, could be wrong), Scooby Doo Movie, Good Burger,
For me it would probrably be Armageddon, I realize it's one of the more fondly remembered crappy movies out there, but make no mistake, it's a crappy movie, filled with several scientific errors, corny and occassionally really poorly written jokes, and is a lot longer than it needs to be, yet I love it to death. Even with the awful animal crackers scene.

meet the feebles. its what peter jackson did before lotr.
Meet the Feebles isn't bad though, it's actually one of the funniest movies I can think of. I'd say it's Peter Jackson's second best movie (first being Dead Alive which is my favorite movie of all time). Honestly, I dislike the LotR trilogy and everything Jackson has done since. The Frighteners, Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, and Dead Alive are all films I'd recommend to anyone with a serious interest in film though.
For me, anything released by Troma. Toxic Avenger and Surf Nazis Must Die are two of the best worst movies ever.
