Sup Duders,
This thread was bad by design but out of the ashes grew some good points on Old cartoons that bring a heartwarming sensation all over your face,
So, I wan't to have a discussion on your old favorite cartoons, Cartoons that make you want to be a kid again,
I'm 21, Between work, some facet of a social life, some facet of the opposite sex, and lets face it GB, I hardly have the time to play Videogames (mainly cause I'm on GB) So spending time sitting down looking at cartoons except when I'm babysitting my cousins is rather counter-productive,
But, there is still a place, in the cockles of my heart, no, not the cockles, maybe the sub cockle area, that still has a tinge of nestalgia for the coloful animations that made me wake up early on saturday morning and eagerly run to the telly and watch my favorite "toons"
Some of mine,
Has to be Scooby Doo, Not scrappy, not the new adventures, but the plain old Scooby, nothing beats that.
Rugrats, If you were a kid at my age and you did not watch that, I feel sorry for you.
Reecess, TJ, Nuff said.
Sonic, It was actually really good, to bad the games that came after the show were dreck.
Re-Boot, Even if you were an adult and you did not like this, Get out!
I mean it!
I will try and get someone to ban you! (I don't have that power.)
Re-boot is just plain awesome, nothing else apart from that should be said,
Telly tubbies, I put that in there because I wanted to see your reaction, I think whoever created this, (Simon Cowell) deserves to be shot, And if they survive, Shot again, (Double tap!)
What about yours Giant Bomb?
What Cartoons bring back the nostalgia?
My list would be very long... I've actually already parted with it on this forum. I created this thread on this very subject:

" Lay off the Denis Leary, and my answer is "Mr. Men Show" "What's wrong with Dennis Leary? I think he is brilliant.

Should this be locked then? Damn, I put effort into it as well, The damn search feature on GB, well it can't be helped in this circumstance, as I typed a totally different topic tittle than you created.
Toonami. Granted I could not understand half of what was going on because I was so young, but it was still great. DBZ, Reboot, Gundam Wing, lots of stuff. Not to mention the Total Immersion Events, their promos, and Tom's speeches on character (anger, individuality, experience, etc).
It's weird, because that was the only thing I liked on Cartoon Network. I really didn't like the other new cartoons on there at the time.
Though I not only regret watching Power Rangers and Pokemon, but regret liking them at the time. Ugh...
Angry Beavers, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, CatDog, DBZ (Freiza Saga seemed to last most of primary school), Pokemon (Before Johto and Orange Islands), Scooby Doo, Dynomutt, Ed Edd and Eddy, Dexters Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, The Weekenders, Aladdin...
I could go on and on trying to think back to my saturday mornings but, I have a shit memory
" @HypoXenophobia said:Cause I'm just a regular guy," Lay off the Denis Leary "I dunno, I think I've got the feeling in my colon. "

DBZ (Freiza Saga seemed to last most of primary school),It just never fucking ended,
And Primary, were did you grow Up? I'm a NZer, we have Primary,
Rugrats, Whatever Happened to Robot Jones, Time Squad, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow and Chicken.
Maybe some others.
DBZ and Gundam Wing. Actually, pretty much anything that was ever on Toonami is pretty nostalgic for me, but I enjoyed those 2 the most when I was a kid.
Pokemon, DragonBallZ, All those Nickelodeon shows from the 90s (Doug, Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, CatDog, Angry Beavers, Rugrats...)
good times

For me, it's gonna have to be goosebumps. Anyone who watched YTV in Canada knew goosebumps.

If the words 'Spider blood, spider blood' said in a robotic tone do nothing for you, you're no human.
Lil'bits, the world of david the gnome, puss in boots which was an obscure anime drawn cartoon in the early 90's on nick where most of the fairy tales such as old mother hubbard and the bird and the cage and such were drawn in a speed racer/80's anime style.
you cant do that on television *one must remember in america one place one went too for all things child was nicklodeon....not so much any more that channel is retarded now*
Oh and some obscure anime that they'd show on TNT late at night like robot carnival
lions gate has decided to block that video in my country....according to youtube."
"
Add to that Pokemon, Rugrats and Beast Wars. Thats my oddly shaped trifecta.

Ed Ed and Eddie, mustly due to that they all share my name and I found a little of me and all of them.
Also, this....
I'm older than most so my cartoon choices are mostly from the 70's.
- Scooby Doo, Where Are You? ~ Nothing was better than watching this show Saturday mornings over a bowl of Fruit Loops.
- The Jackson 5 ~ Full of catchy toons and two dancing white mice, I loved this one
- Josie and the Pussycats (also Josie in Outer Space) ~ Josie was the sexier version of Scooby with more songs and an eventual trip to other planets
- Captain CAAAAAVEMAN ~ Cavey and the Teen Angels solved crimes with the aid of his utility club
- The Herculoids ~ A family lives on a dangerous planet protected by three cool monsters plus 2 "shmoos".
- Fantastic Voyage ~ Animated version of the classic miniaturization sci-fi movie. Very Fantastic Four-ish.
- Hong Kong Phooey ~ Well, he is the number-one super guy and he had a snickering cat.
- Wacky Races / Stop That Pigeon ~ Mostly for Dirk Dastardly and Muttley, a pair of would-be nare-do-wells that can't seem to succeed.
- Battle of the Planets ~ A.k.a., Gatchaman, this series introduced me to anime and giant robot cartoons
- The Superfriends ~ Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman...and that other guy fighting the Legion of Doom. Never enough Green Lantern in my opinion.
- The Blue Falcon and Dinomutt ~ Another in the Hanna-Barbara mystery/comedy genres based around the Scooby Doo template
- The Partridge Family 2200 AD ~ I always called it the Partridge Family in Outer Space (outer space was big in the 70's)
- The Archies ~ Another in the line of cartoons with lots of music in them
- The Brady Kids ~ Like the Partridge Family, this live-action comedy became a cartoon. This one stayed on Earth, though.
- The Incredible Hulk / Iron Man / Captain America ~ Part of the Marvel weekly adventure show. Thor and others also showed up.
- Godzilla ~ The 70's friendly Godzilla (and Godzookie) aided a bunch of kids on a research ship.
- Thundarr the Barbarian ~ A team of three battle evil amidst the ruins of a post-apocalypse world. He had a "light saber"
- Dungeons & Dragons ~ This was in the 80's, but I was (and am) still watching cartoons then even though I was in high school at the time.
- Robotech ~ The adventures of the Macross was actually 3 different shows reworked as one.
- Danger Mouse ~ Hilarious show about a British super-spy mouse and his partner. A better version of Secret Squirrel.
EDIT: After all that I forgot to add Schoolhouse Rock and the Timer for Timer ("hanker for a hunk o' cheese!") PSAs.
Off the top of my head:
- Rocket Robin Hood
- Super Friends
- He-Man
- She-Ra
- Captain Caveman
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Samurai Pizza Cats
- The Smurfs
- The Snorks
- The Flinstones
- Looney Toons
- Animaniacs
- Toxic Avenger
- Smoggies
- G.I.Joe
- Transformer G1
- C.O.P.S.
- M.A.S.K.
- Beatlejuice
- The Real Ghostbusters
- Ren & Stimpy
- Beavis & Butthead
- Cyber 6
- Avatar TLAB (not nostalgic, but it makes me feel young again, cause it's awesome)
