This is what I was thinking.
But of those options, I guess Ketchup. This thread kind of confuses me...

Pretty much this.
Well at first I wanted to see if people said Ketchup or Catsup, but then I realized that maybe people said Tomato Paste or Tomato Sauce so I added those t but then I realized what if they spoke Franswah or Espanol, so I added those options too.
I guess Ketchup or tomato sauce..... I still don't understand the catsup thing..
Anyways, isn't catsup a different thing from ketchup? Isn't it supposed to be more runny or something?

Definitely!
Tomato sauce. Some of the options are just straight up different things so I don't get this.
Ketchup, tomato paste, and tomato sauce are all three entirely different things.
Sauce aux Tomatoes?
That's sauce with tomatoes, not made from them!
This. Why isn't the most basic fucking option there?Tomato sauce?
all those things are different things

what about people that speak DEUTSCH? racist
They aren't good enough for tomato based semi-liquids.

"Catsup" is just a different way to pronounce "ketchup" (generally used in the South). "Ketchup" is actually a pretty modern version since most people used to use the word "catchup." However, earlier versions of ketchup did used to have a thinner consistency, similar to soy sauce.
Some of those things are not the same as the others, as in what type of sauce they are and what they have in them. Generally I go with ketchup for...ketchup...and red sauce for everything else.
How can tomato sauce not be an option? And most of the stuff in the poll are different...
