What do you say the PS3 controller face buttons are?

This always interests me-I have grown up calling them Square, Triangle, O, and X, and always thought of that as correct-however, people refence them as words or mixtures. What do you think is correct?

I call them Rhombus, Spearhead, Hole, and Plus Sign, but only formally.

I'll answer  
"The one it tells you to push right there with big fucking letters, on the big screen in front of you. Look at the screen and not the controller you moron"

I call them A B X and Y because I play more Xbox than PS3 and its just easier to shout out a letter than a shape when in the heat of the moment and your co op partner forgets what button to reload.

X O Square Triangle. 

X, Square, Circle, Triangle... I think. It's not something I take note of.

I call the square Stevie-baby, but only when I'm alone. We have a .... special relationship. 

Left one, top one, right one, and bottom one. 
That way even blind people can visualize my instructions.

I think you need some polish language here:

Kwadrat, trójkąt, kółko, krzyżyk

(Square, triangle, circle, cross)

Square Triangle Circle X. I'd find it weird to hear someone call X 'Cross'.

Circle, Ex, Triangle and Square. I honestly sometimes refer to them as A, B, X and Y, bad habit lol

I choose C. I say mix of circle and O and I call the rest X, Triangle, and square.

Think its Square, Triangle, O, X, but its not something that I have ever thought of.

I actually always get them confused with the Xbox buttons so I try to say Cross.

The idea of anybody "growing up" with the playstation makes me feel fucking ancient.  Oh wait - I am! "

I've never really thought about it but A sounds right to me.
