What Do You Think About Vevo?

If you don't know, vevo has become the big thing for music videos on youtube....and I FUCKING HATE IT.  More often than not is takes forever to load, you are inundated with ads, and music is almost always edited, with no option to switch to an unedited version.  I hate edited music sooooo much, it is not how the artist intended for their music to be heard, and c'mon, this is the internet, editing a few music videos is like trying to save a sinking battleship with elmers glue

I dunno... if Vevo brings cool ideas like streaming Arcade Fire at Madison Square Garden, then I'm all for it... 
 
it's horrible to watch videos with though.

Vevo sucks. All I like about them is being able to play higher definition videos; which may not be available to other uploaded videos. But that's really it, their buffer rate for some reason is atrocious.

I understand ads so censoring is my only complaint.

My complaint is with non-vevo videos. I don't give a damn about clutter on the side as long as the video is the one I want, and it doesn't intrude on my watching the video
 
They should require authorization to use the word "official" on youtube because the word has been abused so much.

It isn't available here in the UK, so I get reminded of this fact, then get to watch the video on YouTube :)

There's definitely more ads on Vevo than the average Youtube video.  I avoid it if I can, even if the quality is sometimes better.

I hate the fact that they have any ads in videos like they do on Youtube. Surely, they could find an alternative.

It has good quality videos, I just dislike the interface. But then again, I have no interest in music videos really so it's inconsequential to me.

Sadly it's been picking up my favorite bands so I'm forced to use it, it's clunky and loads slow :/
 
Good thing I buy all my music on cd too.

I used VEVO when I was visiting my parents who moved to America. It was crap, the interface is terrible and it takes way too long to load

It's okay when I use it to post clean music on the forum because it doesn't allow swearing. Then again the problem is that it..doesn't allow swearing.

I've seen it as a background on some artists' pages but it's never been a thing, as far as I know. Maybe that's because I live in England.

I've never had any of these issues (minus the ads) when viewing Vevo content.

They always have terrible quality too.

I stay as far away from it as possible when on YouTube.

it's stupid for them to use it. it loads really slow and there are ads everywhere. i use no scripted and adblock so it gets most of the ads. it just loads slow for me. 
 
youtube is becoming terrible place for entertainment. some places the music for the video is edited because the label doesn't want it and there are copy right infragments everywhere.

I am not familiar with this VEVO.
