What does a rabbit sound like?

I remember reading an old Donald Duck comic where Donald was trying to attract a bird or some such by dressing up as a rabbit and making rabbit noises. *Kvii-Kviii!* he said while thinking to himself: "What does a rabbit sound like?"

So not even Donald Duck knows. And he's never wrong but always right.

That's why rabbits are depressing.

I think its like a nibble mixed with a squeak, but I guess it depends on the rabbit.

I have never thought about what sound a rabbit makes. Then again, that is because they are usually quiet.

I think they can screech when being attacked.  Sometimes I think I hear them being attacked by owls or something.

Funny thing, once I had a rabbit jump 5 feet vertical right in front of me, I hear that's a tactic they do when they're scared.

I thought that made a small squeaking noise sometimes but that might just be my mind making up stuff.

My dog killed a Rabbit once, lil thing was squealing its head off, like you'd expect.

In nature, they make the same noises as they do in braid..... seriously.

I raised rabbits for 4H one year.  My dad and I took the hutch down off of the wood frame so we could clean all the crap out.  My dog was sniffing around and he got too close to the cage, scaring one of the rabbits.  Unfortunately, the rabbit's foot got caught in the wire mesh of the cage and when it tried to hop away IT RIPPED ITS OWN LEG OFF.  The rabbit started making this horrible screeching noise.  My dad ran in the house, grabbed his .22 pistol, and took it out of his misery.  Poor rabbit.
So, to answer your question, they make a high pitched screaming noise when their legs get ripped off.

Yeah they scream/shriek I witnessed this when my neighbor's dog was killing one.  The sound is pretty horrible sounding.
