I'm trying to figure out what game this soundtrack [removed] is from. Supposedly it's from a handheld, probably from the Game Boy era.

Any ideas?

I feel like I've played it (or at least heard the song before), but I couldn't tell you what the game is :(

Yeah, it sounds like a Nintendo game. Mario, Wario or Kirby. I don't know though. It might not even be one of those.

I feel like this has to be out of a Picross game, but I haven't been able to find it.

Yeah, has me stumped as well. Thanks for the effort. :)

I thought someone asked about this exact song like a year ago and the answer was some sort of pin ball game for game boy. It kind of sounds like something out of Bubsy to me.

Well the beginning is one of the buit-in ringtones on an old Nokia phone, but yes someone did ask Ryan that same question on the Bombcast 6 months ago and he eventually found that is was this(Revenge of the Gator)

HTH.

I used to own Revenge of the Gator. So did my friend and I think it's the only game I ever used the link cable for.

EDIT: also, is this from a fucking game? It's been driving me crazy for nearly 10 years now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-r4QtJlpYU

I had no idea that Royce da 5' 9 was an actual real performer. I just know him from the track used on one of the radio stations in Grand Theft Auto III.

It is bizarre that you would ask this question six months after it appeared on the Bombcast.

@Little_Socrates: Yeah, I totally remember that question being asked on* the Bombcast :P
