What happened to all of the original OT posters?

Did they die or something? It seems like I'm one of the few on here that currently post. Like Just_insane, stAtic, Aarny, and Kush used to be an active poster but I barely see him that much, same with Jolly_Lolly and just about everyone else in this thread.

What about me?

They all got banned, obviously.

People come and people go. It happens. Though Kush is a moderator now. He's not gone.

Probably found a different forum, if the majority of the appeal to them is off-topic I'm sure there are better forums out there, not neccesarily to do with Vidya Games.

EDIT: I have a launch account and Giantbomb has been my homepage since the Blog, I always posted on the forums since launch but only recently have I posted frequently.

People are already reminiscing. Good old Kush, with his pictures of parts of his face.... good times.

Some got banned. Some got scared off because everyone found out they weren't really a girl. Some just left. People come and go on forums. It's the nature of a community website. Although I still see Jolly_Lolly and Kush around on the forums plenty.

We, the moderators, were able to successfully suppress all OT posters. stAtic was sent to Siberia, Just_Insane required nothing on our part as he really was insane, Aarny.... well, I'm not at liberty to say. We had some serious problems with Kush, but we were abelt to successfully capture him and put him through brainwashing to make him one of us.

I'm here, I just don't go on posting sprees like everyone else. Been here since day one, and I'll be here till at least 2012(when I graduate college and get a real life, I don't know if I'll still be here).

There are some that have other things to do, you know? It's a shame not everyone can stay, but, hey, we are still here! Kush pops by here and there and he is a mod, and Jolly_Lolly is here too. The others you mentioned have sort of disappeared, unfortunately.

They're beeing interrogated in the dungeons of CIA and Interpol to reveal the location of the Giant Bomb.

I started posting around when the site opened up, I`m just busy lately.

The majority are still here I believe. To be honest, the ones I miss the most are the ones that have been banned.

I've been here since the very first day, even when it was just a blog. I might have not posted threads at the beginning though. Who remembers when Jeff (I think it was him) did a post where he said to e-mail him to get a reserved spot to the new GiantBomb so that you could get the name you wanted?

They were under the impression that one doesn't have to commit to a quota number of posts per day on a website. I was too. I guess I didn't get the memo.

I would assume that they were busy with their lives. Jolly_Lolly posts here every now and then.

They are cool and all, but what the hell happened to Sentry. Dude posted like a mad hatter for the first couple of weeks, became one of the top three posters then disappeared. He still has a top poster spot on the PS3 forums...

I think GiantBomb had to go through a filtering stage. Most of the crap is gone now.
