Um, the one I make myself.

I lol'd. Though custom is easily the best brand: the cheapest and the best.

I have never owned a store bought computer, always built mine from scratch. But if I had to  own one, I would definitely go with HP.

I've had a Macbook for a while now and I still really like it, so I guess it'd be Apple for me right now. For a PC I usually stick with HP or build one.

It's pretty difficult to say which brand is better than the other since all that companies like Dell and HP do is put together the PC for you, so aside from issues like poor build quality or shoddy assembly they are pretty much the same IMO. You are essentially just paying for branding anyway as you can just assemble the PC yourself for a lower cost.

My laptop is from HP, my mini laptop is from Acer and I built my own desktop.

The best computers are the ones you make yourself. Any branded computer will underperform and be overpriced.
 
And I'm not really sure why you ever thought Dell was the best. It's pretty much common knowledge that Dell is one of the worst computer brands. They are terrible. :( *sad face*

I personally like would reccomend Apple and Gateway for laptops. For any desktop, I would suggest building it yourself. 

Uhhh... Don't really have a favourite... Dell and HP are pretty good. here's my laptop for those interested...
