1. Pulp Fiction
2. Reservoir Dogs
3. Anything he's done since those.. :D
Pulp Fiction followed by Reservoir Dogs. I haven't seen them all yet (most notably haven't seen Inglorious Basterds). Pulp Fiction might be my favorite movie period. Love it so much.
Kill Bill (both volumes) are my favorite of what he's directed. From Dust Till Dawn is my favorite of what he's only written.
I would say Inglorious Bastards. I say this because I was enthralled with it the entire run time of the movie. It has great writing, the story was interesting, and it had plenty of memorable moments. As others have said, the opening scene is by far one of my favorite scenes from a movie.
With that said I am a big fan of all of his other movies too, so I am a bit biased.
Reservoir Dogs.
Pulp Fiction and True Romance(wrote, didn't direct) were good.
Kill Bill 1 was alright.
I hated Kill Bill 2 and Inglorious Basterds.
I want to say Inglourious Basterds, just because it's clutch scenes focus on dialogue rather than action, which is something you don't see often today. But Brad Pitts last line...Granted, Tarantino isn't exactly know for being humble, but even still, it was a bit much.
Inglorious Basterds is a better movie than Pulp Fiction, I will say that, it is wonderfully made.
BUT, I absolutely love the dialogue in Pulp Fiction. Inglorious Basterds has great dialogue but the setting doesn't allow for the humor that Pulp Fiction has. So I have to say Pulp Fiction.
I like Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill as well but not as much as Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds.
Reservoir Dogs is my favorite from him, the dialogue is just so fucking good. Pulp Fiction is probably a better movie when everything's said and done, but I prefer Reservoir Dogs just because it's so briskly paced and raw.

Yeah, words such as "Bring out the GIMP" couldn't be used in 1940's Germany, I don't think.
It's hard because his films all have really different tones, but I would say Reservoir Dogs. I don't know know exactly why though. It could be because the robbery isn't shown and is vaguely told, and I find that to be an interesting choice. Or maybe it's because of the characters. I don't know.
I think the only film I haven't seen by him is Four Rooms.
I have seen a few, the core Tarantino films, and I must say that all of them are stellar, easily a Screened Bestie, but personally, the non-chronological editing and Samuel L Jackson's character arc makes Pulp Fiction my favorite Tarantino film. First, eloquently yelling Bible verses at that muthafucka Brett and later confessing his sins to the Lie To Me guy are some of my favorite moments in cinema in general.
@Phoenix778m: Anumber of people have mentioned Jackie Brown as their fave. One or two loved it wasn't their fave. No, you are not alone!
I'm surprised by my answer, but I think it's Inglourious Basterds. When I walked out of that movie after seeing it in theaters, I wasn't sure what I thought. The misleading marketing had me thinking I didn't get what I came for. After seeing it numerous times since then, I was able to judge it better for what it was,and loved it. Quentin builds tension in that film so incredibly well. Couple that with Waltz's mind blowing performance and you've got QT's best movie. Honorable mentions to Reservoir Dogs/Pulp Fiction/Kill Bill Vol 2.

Completely agree. Lol
Every time I hear someone say they were misled by the Inglourious Basterds advertising I have to wonder if Kill Bill was their introduction to Tarantino. I say that because Kill Bill Vol. 1 is an exception in his ouvre in that it's got a lot of serious action scenes.
Basterds is much more in line with the rest of his films: tons of great dialogue punctuated by stoccato violence. Going in, I assumed that's what I was getting.
Oh, Pulp Fiction.
As much as i love kill bill 1 for the prime directing, scenery referencing, acting, and "purity", i don't think i could ever love any of Tarantino's movies more than reservoir dogs... no other movie has such distinct personalities, the one room concept was amazing, a real time clock has never been done so well.
Pulp fiction was also good, but i think i would put Kill Bill 2 before it... As for Ignlorious... well it was great but not as special as Tarantino's other movies... i mean other than the fact that when you mix up history with Tarantino you get chaos.
ResDogs, Jackie Brown, True Romance, and Pulp Fiction are some of my favorites. Unless you count "4Rooms" but that is just a 4th Tarantino.
