Seem to remember that Jeff was talking about this a couple of bombcasts ago... Was a couple of new phenomenons on the web that has surpassed grocery hauling as the new 'people do stupid shit on the internet'.
Anyone got a clue?
I don't know if this is new or what but I just moved back home for a bit and I'm living with my little 3 year old nephew.
He watches a lot of Youtube, basically instead of the cable TV I used to watch. And boy, what is on there for kids is crazy. Tons of low rent basically flash animation looking stuff about monster trucks (some of which is literally like a flash quality monster truck just in the center of the screen sort of looking like it's moving with monster truck sounds playing). This show with ghosts and stuff where this guy sings TERRIBLY OFF KEY in all the videos.
And one I have seen lately is basically a grown ass man playing with Thomas the Train toys (which my newphew is obsessed with) and making little scenes and basically smashing toys into each other and making sound effects. Meanwhile my newphew is saying "wow I wish I had that!" and jumping around. In a way it actually kind of makes me think on how much time I spend watching other people play videogames...
Brave new world.
The newest YouTube sensation 'grocery hauling' has everything...
@murtaug: Yes, I love these. Specifically I watch the one that was mentioned on the Bombcast a month or so ago. There's just something so interesting about seeing someone open a 50+ year old MRE to see what is inside and what the state of it is. And it's interesting to compare what constitutes a full meal replacement back then versus what is packaged up as one now.
I also really like thrifting videos. LGR does videos where he does POV in various Goodwills and shows what they have for electronics, video games and other oddities. Then he wraps up by showing what he picked up at the end. It's kind of therapeutic and calming, and I like thrifting myself so I usually mentally compare and contrast my locations and hauls with the people who do videos.
I thought I did too. But my post is gone. Didn't receive a message about it being deleted though. Also, why would it be? If you bring up anything about REDACTED your post is automatically deleted? I guess not everyone is progressed far enough to see it as a natural and normal thing that people can talk about.
@zevvion: Strange... I can't imagine why it would be censored, this being the home of the infamous @biffmcblumpkin and all.
Subscribe to Lootbox! Get a box every week of throwaway 'geeky' shit so that everyone will know how hip you are with it! Who knows, you could get a shirt with Deadpool wielding a lightsaber yelling something about Minecraft and/or tacos! Hahaha, lmao so random. Us nerds and gamurs amirite?
Please remember to use this code when you subscribe so I get a kickback.

You should probably review the Community Rules.
NO material of a pornographic, overtly sexual or gory nature: Includes but not limited to in-game images from pornographic games or hentai, as well as sexually explicit fan art. This includes subjects which may be deemed generally offensive to the community. Additionally, usernames and content in user profiles must be appropriate for all ages.
This has nothing to do with others not being as progressive as yourself, this is a community with standards and one of those standards is things like discussion of sex toys is not permitted. Those weird ass Spiderman and Frozen Elsa videos
my partner is fascinated by those videos, but I can't look at them. They're always popping balloons, playing with shitty diapers, farting, getting goo squirted on them 'by accident', playing in a bathtub full of weird shit, and writhing around while some archived sounds of kids 'oooh'ing and 'aaaah'ing and giggling play over it all. It's fetish content marketed at children.
So as I mentioned earlier, my nephew watches a channel on youtube that's a grown ass man playing with Thomas the Train toys and reviewing them and stuff. Well today I went and brought him to the store and got him a Thomas Mini racetrack toy set and he was thrilled about it and one of the first things out of his mouth, no lie, was "this will be perfect for my channel!". He's three.
