What is Tom Cruise's best acting role?

Man. As a big fan of Tom Cruise, I seem to be the only person I know that wasn't so crazy about his Tropic Thunder performance. Parts of it were funny, but it was kind of hard for me to watch Tom being such a jerk for laughs. Also, did anyone else notice how unbelievably big his hands are in that movie? Was he wearing like prosthetics or something?

And he fucking RUINED The OUtsiders, him and Emillio Estevez fucking sucked in that movie. Dillion, Karate Kid and C thomas were fucking awesome tho, as was Rob Lowe

I'm not a huge Tom Cruise fan so I haven't seen too many of his movies.

I'm voting for Vanilla Sky, that was one of my favorite movies and Cruise was damn good at that.
