What is your "cellar door"?

That word that you just like the way it sounds. I think I came across mine today while doing research for a paper on a piece of art, and it is a name.

Hieronymus Cock

First of all, I think Hieronymus is an awesome name all by itself, but the dude having a last name of Cock brings a smile to my face.

Maybe I'm just not as mature as I think I am.

There are just too many: Chalice. Bracket. Umbilical. Kinetic. Serendipitous. Copacetic...

The one that knocked me off my feet as a child was Serenity, I was entranced by the word. A decade later Firefly came along and I fell in love with it for more reasons.

Today just hearing the word relaxes my body almost like when my sister would caress me when I was scared as a child. But yeah that a word can invoke a "mothers touch" sensation in me.

Ambivalence and rhetoric have been a couple of recent favourites. I also really like the phrase "talking head", although that's more to do with how simple but effective it can be as a description.

Around the time I was first studying English in middle school I got very fond of the way the word Purple felt in my mouth.

Other than that, I can recall that I really liked saying Hyrule...before I learned about the boring way that you're actually supposed to pronounce it.

Chimaera.

Pyschosoma is that word for me. Really, I don't think I have tried using the word without attempting to sound like a confused Metal Gear character. "Hmm... perhaps they used psychosoma on him?"

I also like to stick my head out the door and try to pronounce Latin words. Undoubtedly the way I have said usque ad coelum must have been some sort of phonetic travesty, but it just sounds too incredibly dumb not to try and use.

There are a lot of words I like for phonoaesthetic reasons, but my favorite is "grotesque."

Inexorable, I don't know when I came across it first but DAMN. It's a mean ugly word, you have to force it off your tongue. It's a word that you associate with semi trucks or runaway trains in every way possible.
