In particular, which is your favorite Ferrari? I need to know, very important research.
Personally I always gravitate towards MGs, but of the Ferrari's the 308 GT4. I mean look at that, it's beautiful and you really get the sense of it's low-weight sportiness.
Pfft, Ferrari. If it ain't American or German, I'm not interested!
So far as favorite car...I dunno, I don't know anything about cars. At least not beyond basic knowledge of operating them, and how engines and stuff work.
@PillClinton: Ooooh, those are both good choices. But the Dino...has a Fiat engine...and I know from playing much Forza 3 that it's about as good as my Civic...
But my god, it does have a great deal of personality doesn't it?
@nintendoeats: Yup, tiny little V6, but a nice light body, and it just has that classic sexiness, and I felt like pullin' a little bit of a deep cut, admittedly.
Favorite Ferrari: 250 GTE, if it has to be stock. If it can be an owner-modified car, then the twin-turbo Enzo probably. I just think it's pretty cool that someone destroyed their Enzo and instead of letting it remain dead, they brought it back as a straight-line improvement over the original
My dad used to own a Corvette dealership/bodyshop so I've always had an affinity for them. He's owned something upwards of 50 different Corvettes in his lifetime.
I don't care about Ferraris because I know I'll never own one.
I can't tell cars apart from one another no matter how hard I try. They just all look the same to me. I never noticed this until the last month or so when I found myself in a position to need to start saving up for a vehicle and I started going out of my way to see what was out there that I might want.
@sevenLiter I have never seen a 10 second Zephyr. Both scary and impressive.
@MikeGosot That's 442 - 4 speed, 4 barrel carb, and 2 wheel drive? A classic.
@mikey87144 The GT-R is a monster. Though it suffers from the issue that plagues all-wheel drive cars - weight. Too heavy.
However, all-wheel drive, twin turbo cars have the ability to "launch".
You have to take out your spare tire and lay the rear view mirrors against the door, but if you can imagine all four wheels pulling at once, with hundreds of horsepower...
That's a Skyline, that's sexy.
I'm a car nut.
Import:
My current ride is the 1985 Toyota Celica GT-S. It's a convertible with the 22RE. That's a fuel injected 2.4 liter 4 banger. I was thinking about slapping a turbo on it, but after watching Initial D, I've decided to go all engine NA. I'm a big toyota guy. My dad had an MR2 that they call the "poor mans Ferrari". It was. Mid engine rear wheel drive. The mid-engine is pretty sweet in it's own right. If I was in a slide, I could let go of the wheel and it would straighten itself out. A friend of mine had the AE86 Corolla. It was legendary. Mid 80's era Toyotas are hot. Then, of course, there was the twin sequential turbo Supras from the 90's (95 I think) that changed the game.
Domestic:
Nowadays, for the money, the Camero is your best bet. It lacks style and is built on the Cadillac platform (which is heavy as shit) but it has the necessary horsepower to make up for it. Plus they sound cool as hell. At a third of the price of the GT-R and Corvette of similar ilk, a steal.
Best Car Eva? 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge in Carousel Red:
That's style my friends.
I wouldn't drive a Ferrari, because Enzo himself stated that the cars they sell are only to further the Ferrari Racing sport and are not that great.
I'll have to look it up for the exact wording, but I assure you he said it.
@ajamafalous: yeah, the Corvette's an absolute classic, and Chevy's really kept improving that car phenomenally over the years. If I had 60 grand to drop on a car, I would seriously consider a Corvette Grand Sport. And for the car you get, $60k is insanely low. Gotta love Chevy's no bullshit pricing.

That is a pretty car. I would never disrespect your choice of vehicles. The ZR1 is what the Corvette is about, IMHO.
You could have two Cameros at the price of the Grand Sport, one to wreck and one to pimp.

ZR1's the top dog for sure, but you'd have to be quite a bit wealthier to afford one of those over a GS, which is almost kind of practical if you make a good deal of money.
@PillClinton Granted, you have a very valid point. You like Corvettes, I would take a mortal blow for you in combat. I guess I'm letting my car nuttyness get in the way.
If you get around your friends, they'll be like "that car is awesome."
If you're around someone with a car, they'll be all "Is it a ZR1?". You'll be all "No, It's a..." And they'll be all "Time for IHOP."
Save your money, get a fully pimped Camero with ample HP at half the price and have money for gas left over.
Or you could get a fucking CRAZY import for that money that is supercar ready.
@Jadeskye: Did you know that the full name of McLaren is Vodafone McLaren Mercedes? HOW PROUD ARE YOU NOW!!!!????
Seriously though, it's an incredible piece of kit. If was going British I would probably go with a Caterham or a Morgan, but it is VERY hard to argue with that hypercar.
im not really a car dude, and this is probably going to sound super lame, but my favorite car would have to be the car from the show Supernatural. i dont remember what its called. that car is fucking awesome looking though.
ferraris and sports cars in general look like gaudy shit though. even if i was rich i wouldnt have one.

I'm such a car dork. That's the 67 Impala from what I see. I haven't watched Supernatural for a minute.
Sigh, <DORKMODEACTIVATED> the 62-64 Impala was the vehicle of choice for the Gangsta movement. Honestly, those are the best models.
currently, still like the look of the 612 Scaglietti, though i grew up with that F50 on my wall so that seems to be the one i always picture when someone mentions Ferrari. true screw around car id want, is a Aerial Atom.
