The TV show that's terrible and you shouldn't be watching because its terrible, but do anyway and enjoy it. What is it?
What Is Your Guilty Pleasure TV Show?
On the other hand, I like Sonny with a Chance and think it's actually a good show.
I ******** love old US soap Sunset Beach!, It's the only American show that has a twisted British sense of humour, which is possibly why it bombed in the US but was loved everywhere else.
I watch Charmed every now and then, but mainly just because it allows me to watch Alyssa Milano, and boy is she swell! The others aren't too shabby either.
Star Trek: Voyager & Star Trek: Enterprise. I love star trek, but these two are terrible. The characters are so bland and lacking in personality. There are a couple of good characters (The doctor in voyager, for example) but most of them are rubbish. The Voyager crew had potential, that was never fully utilized. Tom Paris's rogue streak could have been better utilized, and there could have been more explorations into Tuvok's emotions. Although Enterprise didn't seem to have a whole lot of potential for the crew at all, but there was tonnes of untapped potential for exploring the early days of the star trek universe. Both were extremely disappointing. But I still watch them, and enjoy them, despite being completely disappointing, and never utilizing their potential.
" @Linkyshinks: That looks so awesomely horrifically terribly (yes, three adverbs in a row) good. "
" @HandsomeDead said:Contentious. Though, I do definitely agree that she is so much better than the rest. Carol McGiffin really is just horrible." Loose Women. Andrea McLean <3 "What, Jackie Brambles is way hotter."
" @ververdan0226 said:That looks utterly horrible... I love it. Going to Youtube now." @Linkyshinks: That looks so awesomely horrifically terribly (yes, three adverbs in a row) good. "Trust me when I say the opening credits cannot convey how awesomely funny the show itself is. There are some full epsiodes on Youtube that could crack anyone up, even while lacking prior knowledge of the characters!.This Titanic episode was funny, unfortunely they only have this little clip.
" Pretty much any sitcom from the 90's. I love me some Home Improvement, and for reasons unknown to myself or anyone else. "hahahahaha Tim Allen!.........i have a soft spot for that 70s show
" My old obsession with Scrubs is pretty embarrassing. "Scrubs isn't an embarrassing obsession AT ALL. Its a hilarious, touching, compelling show. I always say its the only show that can make me sad, then have me laughing 5 seconds later. Great show.
Scrubs is amazing. Ironically, I've been going through my Scrubs DVD's and watching them. That show is.... yeah, as I said, amazing.
I don't really have one. The only shows I legitimately follow are Monk and Psych (both USA), House (FOX), and the three FOX adult cartoons: Family Guy, King of the Hill, and The Simpsons. I occasionally watch Bones, but not very faithfully.
EDIT: Oh, I guess I do still watch Spongebob. I guess that counts.
" Has anyone said Top Chef yet? "Oh god....I feel guilty for this but I totally watched the complete first season of that show >_<
I dont watch current TV much anymore other then sports and news but I buy a lot of shows on DVD that I watch fairly regularly I guess. The only two shows I have all seasons for that no one else I know seems to like at all are MacGyver and Stargate SG-1. MacGyver was a childhood thing but I never really watched Stargate until they bought out the complete collection set recently and my Patty and Selma like man love for Richard Dean Anderson gave in and I have been watching through it since. I am about 4 seasons into Stargate for the first time and I am loving it.
I also have an unhealthy obsession for my favorite Childhood cartoons. I have every He-man and She-ra box set you can get including Christmas Specials, Live action movies and the New Adventures of He-man. I also have all the generation 1 Transformers. I have all the sagas for Dragonball /Z /GT and all the feature films bar the last 2 Z movies. I am in the process of getting the Voltron Lion force series (avoided getting the complete collection set cause I want nothing to do with the Vehicle force series :-P) and if they ever finally release Thundercats on DVD in Australia I can die happy.
I am also quite fond of Hells Kitchen USA, they always seem to have a bunch of contestants with mental issues, and it makes for a fascinating watch to see chef Ramsay deal with them.
" The O' Rielly Factor, ya i said it. . . "Dude I love this show. It's on at about 10am in the UK. I sit and watch it after I drop this kids off to school. My wife come in and says "why the hell do you watch this shit?" to which I reply "are you kidding? This is the funniest shit on TV!"
I enjoy watching The emperors new school on family when I see it on, I like their humor. One of the few cartoons these days that has genuinely funny moments.
I also find myself watching the weekenders on occasion :P
