Hey bombers, I've been seeing red today, and it got me thinkin' - what kind of music do you listen to when you're angry?

I popped on Pantera's Cowboys From Hell and I'm already feeling better.

Depends on the kind of angry, but usually Five Finger Death Punch, Tool, Metallica, or Drops of Jupiter by Train.

Drops of Jupiter, eh? Quite the contrasting song from the previous bands you mentioned.

Anyway, I either listen to angry music to compliment my angry mood, or happy music to calm myself.

I really think You Know My Name is the best Bond Song. Live and Let Die can go cry by itself in the corner.

I usually listen to slower stuff to calm me down. Going to California will almost always do the trick.

Get out of here. It's not even top 5 material when you have the trilogy of GoldenEye, Goldfinger and The Man With The Golden Gun to contend with, not to mention View to a Kill and Diamonds Are Forever.

Now that I'm not an angry young man, I do not revel in my anger like I use to. Instead I'll listen to something like this to lighten up my day:

I don't really get angry, I usually just get agitatedly depressed. I usually find music like Bring Me The Horizon works great for that.

When I want to revel in my anger I'll put on some totally cliche nu-metal. Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish album is a good one, as is most of Korn's discography. The Marshall Mathers LP is great too.

I think Rage Against The Machine probably wins out though.

I WILL NEVER GET OUT!

But seriously, I did like the Goldeneye theme, Tina Turner is a badass.  I'm not really into the Shirley Bassey Bond Songs, but I've only really heard them in the context of the movies, I've never popped them into my mp3 collection and jammed to them.  I absolutely hated A View to Kill, that one may as well be the scratching a chalkboard sound. I really liked You Know My Name, and the weaker Bond it portrayed. The whole introduction of portion Casino Royale was great. Hell, the whole movie was great.

You continue to try far too hard to make yourself out as superior.

I don't like lisening to aggressive music when I'm angry. I prefer music that will calm me down.
This song got me through my grandmother's death, for instance.

I don't really ever get mad, but if I am my music choices don't change because of it.  But for pissed off music, Dragged Into Sunlight is good, only problem is the serial killer samples come up way too often.

I like the Drops of Jupiter selection. Pointing out that you don't always want to rip someone's lungs out when you are angry.

My usually selection is Slipknot based. When I went through my teenage angst times in my life I found that a lot of their stuff spoke to me. Outside Slipknot, anything fast and heavy is my thing. Still Remains, All that Remains, Avenged Sevenfold, and Atreyu tend to fill that with a few other songs thrown in. Other go-to bands: Nine Inch Nails, Dir En Grey, Mudvayne ("Dig" specifially), Lamb of God.

Sure those are a lot of my favorite bands, but don't take that as me being an angry person (not saying I'm not). I do like other music though. Never fear.

I don't really change my music based on my mood that much.

I try for something a little calm though when angry if I'm in that sort of mind set.

Life is too short to be angry, but on the rare occasion it happens I sit back and listen to something laid back, like a bit of Rapin' 4 Tay. I don't see how listening to some angry music is going to help me "vent out" my anger.
