I'm generally a low energy person, so if I need to do something physical like mowing the lawn (I have a huge lawn on a slope and its a real bitch) for instance, I often make a playlist of songs to motivate me.

What songs, as soon as you hear them, fill you with energy? Been a while since I posted a music related topic.

here is a couple of mine:

Prayer of the Refugee is a good song to listen to when shooting people or driving around trying to get away from cops.
Machinae Supremacy - Indiscriminate Murder is Counter-Productive is my MMO song. Great lyrics too

I agree with the Rocky theme.

Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria always makes me super pumped.

Plus the Skyrim theme just makes me feel like I can do anything haha!

@TheCableKid: Yep and I'm super excited. When they go on tour I'm totally going since I missed out on them the first time around despite them being one of my favorite bands.

About 90% of Sabaton's songs (Ghost Division, Screaming Eagles, Coat of Arms, 40:1, etc).

Faint by Linkin Park.

Crush, Witchcraft, Self Vs Self, Voodoo People (Cover) by Pendulum.

Dark Chest of Wonders, Wish I Had An Angel, and a few others I can't quite remember right now by Nightwish.

Country Roads, the good fast version at the end of AMV Hell 3.

I've been addicted to this Canadian dudes music lately. Especially since he just recently released a new EP. I've been listening to this while playing SSX and it's great.

Despite not actually knowing much about the act and whether I should hate them or not (edit - most signs point to yes according to friends), the song that gears me up when walking into work is Nero - Me and You.

All I know it's a good name change from their original band name - Nero Burning Rom.

No Easy Way Out by Robert Tepper is the only right answer to this question.

This song makes me wanna do an eight ball of coke and go speeding in the wrong side of the lane while getting head and downing a bottle of whisky.

Tommy Lee's punding drum beat, Mick Mars' awesome guitar riff which feels like a revving engine, Nikki Sixx's boogeying bass in the background and Vince Neil hitting those high notes perfectly making the chorus an amazing sing-a-long classic. And ending the song with some of that sweet, sweet talkbox action.

The genesis of the song makes it even more infamous. Nikki Sixx did a heroin overdose and was clinically dead for two minutes. Two adrenaline shots to the heart later and he was back amongst the living. Later that evening he escaped from the hospital and hooked up with two groupies in the parking lot and went back to partying and wrote this song. Honestly, after reading Mötley Crüe's biography, it truly is a wonder they're still alive, yet in such great shape and still doing well for themselves. Hell, the one who's in worst shape is Mick mars and that's only because of a hereditary spinal disease.

There's only one album where Chris Barnes actually does good vocal work I think, pretty sure it's the last he worked on:

Vince DiCola (Who did the score for Rocky IV) made a fantastic score for Transformers: The Movie the same year.

Amongst them was Unicron's theme which is just one of the most bad-ass and omnious themes around
