I know this isn't the usual gaming question but I'm wondering what TV shows do you watch so here are some of mine. Dexter- Right now I am on the 6th season I know some people say the quality of the show has got worse but I'm still enjoying it. It's always sunny in Philadelphia - This show is so funny at least for me I like how even though these charcters are so unlikeable I still like them. Derren brown - Even though I don't like magicians, I still enjoy his shows there interesting and I like his personality. So what are some of the shows you are watching.

Rarely watch anything these days, but if I do, its Archer, Game of Thrones and Man vs. Food (I enjoy watching the food challenges, even though the show is corny as hell).
I'm craving to watch shows like Adventure Time and Breaking Bad though, even if the two shows are extremely different.

For tv shows I asume live actors ... and outside the occational (I mean like once or twice a month) times I do is spent on CSI (which ever is on) Criminal Minds , the mentalist , Law & Order etc. Wish I could see Game of thrones but alas no HBO at the moment (nor cash for online purchase either)

Breaking Bad(Still...for some reason)
The Walking Dead
How I Met Your Mother
Sons of Anarchy
Those are really the main series I watch, then I just watch some other stuff if I happen to catch them while they're on.

Breaking Bad

Parks and Rec

That's it. Used to watch Walking Dead but finally realized how horrible it is.

The ones I've mentioned in the 396 other threads like this one.

#7 Posted by david3cm (677 posts) -

Parks and Rec, Mad Men, starting watching Homeland, it's pretty good.

#8 Posted by GeekDown (1173 posts) -

Archer, Bob's Burgers, The League, Happy Endings, Game of Thrones and Mad Men. I think that's it.

Walking Dead

How I Met Your Mother ( it really sucks anymore)

Big Bang Theory ( this show has gone downhill fast )

Person of Interest ( kick ass Jesus rules )

Bob's Burgers

NFL Redzone

The Walking Dead (Season 3 has been great so far, and made up for the abomination that was Season 2)

Breaking Bad(took the formula that made The Wire great and is avoiding many of it's mistakes)

Portlandia (Great skit comedy, it's like SNL if SNL was written by Cascadians)

No Reservation (as a former cook myself who's dealt with the bullshit of that job, it's nice hearing Bourdain being an asshole)

Mythbusters ( The science duo is as great as ever, and the wonderful Kari is back with Grant & Tory as it should be)

2 Broke Girls (guilty pleasure, my ex started me on this show and I stopped dating her ages ago but kept watching the show)

Girls (I can appreciate the good writing even if I'm not the target demographic)

Bones and Castle is about it. Not a huge fan of television. The only real reason I'm still watching these shows is because I'm already invested. Castle is still a fun guilty pleasure kind of show but Bones needs to be done. Kinda tired of it at this point.

  • Breaking Bad - Need to finish season 4.
  • Vampire Diaries
  • Alphas - Only saw the first episode. Need to watch the rest.
  • Falling Skies - I only got to see the first 2-3 episodes but I liked it.
  • How I Met Your Mother - Need to start.
  • Legend of Korra - Need to start.
  • The River - Curious...

Although I do not watch them on a television, but rather over the internet, the shows I do watch are:

  • Game Center CX
  • My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
#17 Posted by mosespippy (4746 posts) -

I'll watch the last series of Skins when it airs in a few months and the next series of Black Mirror but after that is done it'll likely be the last of my TV watching days except for sports.

#18 Posted by Kerned (1183 posts) -

Not many at the moment. Currently watching:

  • Boardwalk Empire - best thing on television right now, by far
  • Dexter - better than last season, but not great
  • RuPaul's Drag Race - don't judge, it's amazing. The "All-Stars" mini-season that's happening right now isn't as good though.
  • FaceOff - just finished catching up on the whole series

Eagerly awaiting the return of:

  • Breaking Bad
  • Game of Thrones

I'm not into kids shows, and the commercials on the channel make it seem like one, which I am not fond of at all because I think it's far better than any of the other shows on it, and deserves better, but Tron: Uprising. Kids can watch it, sure, but it's a fantastic show for anyone, and I think anyone that likes sci-fi, or even more so, Tron, should watch it if they're not already. It's a great show. Amazing soundtrack, great characters, nice visuals that back up the expanding world of Tron, cool action, and insight into the happenings of what happened before Tron: Legacy. There are of course better episodes than others, but they're all great.

  • Boardwalk Empire
  • Supernatural
  • Sons of Anarchy
  • Walking Dead
  • Mad Men
  • Homeland
  • Colbert Report
  • Curb Your Enthusiasm

Looks about right. The odd time I'll go back and watch things like The Sopranos, The Wire, and Battlestar Galactica too.

Just boardwalk empire right now. And on HboGo, so no TV action except for videogames and sports.

I would watch walking dead s3, but I missed the first couple of episodes and don't know how to catch up.

  • It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
  • Homeland
  • Boardwalk Empire
  • The Walking Dead
  • South Park
  • American Horror Story

I honestly believe Homeland is the best thing currently on television.
Watched Dexter to season 5, then quit a few episodes into season 5 when I found it to be intolerable. I was recently told by a few friends that the current season is really improved over 5 and 6. I gave it a couple episodes, and nope, still dislike what I'm seeing.
Heard good things about Sons of Anarchy, yet I can't seem to commit the time it would take to get caught up.

Shows I wish I were watching, but I need to catch up on past seasons:

  • Dexter - Apparently this show is pretty good again.

How I Met Your Mother and The Walking Dead

#35 Edited by Sooty (8195 posts) -

I don't know how people watch The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, the first show was never funny and the second passed its expiry date after season three.

I don't like that America insists on making every show have 7+ seasons. (assuming they are full seasons) Seinfeld is the only show I can think of that remained consistently good.

That's it this season for me! Oh, and I'm always watching Top Gear so throw that in there as well.

oh god I hate reading Japanese in the English alphabet, it looks so stupid.

Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Dexter and Breaking Bad. I like to have some quick laughs mainly which is why I don't watch a lot big non-comedy series (except Dexter and BB), I just don't have the time to follow all of them.
