Turns out it was filled half way with someones piss.
I did that to someone once: Out in a club once a friend and I both pissed in a half full pint and left it on a counter, 10 minutes later we saw a dude take it. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see his reaction.
Hmm... I can't remember anything really horrid off the top of my head, but things that people might find bizarre or unappetizing yes. I've had sheep's lung before in Morocco when I was a kid (both raw and cooked); it's really nice. Snails are really nice too, they're quite common back home in Spain. Tried them in France too, pretty similar.

Accidentally took a sip of a beer containing cigarette butts and ashes. Surprised it's not a more common answer. I've seen many tipsy people make the same mistake.
Probably bulls testicles in Kenya. Popped one in started to chew and then the realisation of what was in my mouth hit me hard. That was mainly a psychological issue through association though, rather then the item itself being disgusting.
Worst tasting was a selection of sea anemones in Morocco. Makes my stomach turn just thinking about it.
I've had durian as well. Not the worst tasting, but certainly the worst smelling.
I don't think I've ever eaten anything conceptually gross, but I have done some combinations that were objectively bad ideas. Like mustard and grapefruit, or Kool-Aid and scotch. Still, I would sooner revisit either of those than wasabi.
Piss. Human urine. My asshole friend in highschool (who im rightfully not friends with anymore). Emptied a bottle of mountain dew. Pissed in it, put it in the fridge and then gave it to me to drink.
I've found that spoiled POM pomegranate juice is instantaneous ipecac according to my body. Literally the moment it hit my tongue I threw up. And it's not like I have a weak stomach or anything, I eat a lot of weird shit.
Marmite is 10x worse than Vegemite! I have a jar up in my cupboard that's been sitting there for over a year. Hell, it's so frightening that I'm even scared to throw it out!
Beef stomach and pork rinds (pig skin) being the weirdest, at least to most people... It's quite common in Mexico to eat beef stomach or pork intestine. They're fried or put into soups a lot.
I love sushi but one time I decided to try sea urchin. It tasted disgusting but the texture was even worse. I had to excuse myself from the table and spit it out in the bathroom.
Pickled herring. I vomited the first time I tried it. Just the smell of it makes me almost vomit.
Even looking at it makes me nauseous.
Pickled herring is fucking delicious. Put some curry cream, raw onions and capers on those motherfuckers and eat it on rye bread! We eat tons of that stuff and get shitfaced on snaps around x-mas time in Denmark!
Edit: Just read my comment back... and I'll say this: It might not be for everybody.
