What's The Most Expensive Thing You've Ever Bought?

Computer. £250 for what I have here, but it was a good deal so I'll be able to upgrade it further in the future as well.

Ummm, a house and cars...maybe we should specify largest gaming related purchase? In which case, I would have to think about that one.

My PC cost me well over a grand when I first bought it.

I chose some really stupid parts and I've upgraded it twice in 3 years.

I'm pretty happy with it now, though.

Guitar and Amp a few years ago, total was about $1000

does it really count if you had to take a loan? I mean....everyone's answer will be a house. Gotta mix it up a bit.

That's kind of how I feel. Unless you own it outright that is, at least then even if you needed a loan, you own it now.

I don't make near as much as some of these people seem to. Varies from 100-125k a year.

iMac back in 2008 being around 2100€. Has served me well to this day and modern games such as Max Payne 3 run fine on Bootcamp, thank you console ports.

My 2008 Chevy Cobalt. It was in the area of $10,000. First thing I have ever taken a loan out for. Got it paid off at the end of last year.

My PC was like $1,600 once everything was said and done.

My condo then my vehicle. But biggest game related purchase I think it is my 60GB PS3 ($550).

I bought a dog for $4500

Not really a thing, but I spent over $11,000 on a 4 month trip to Europe. It was easily worth it. I have yet to buy any one physical thing over $1000.00 (still haven't got a car yet).

Just bought my house along with my fiance this past fall. Other then that...I'd say College was pretty damn expensive too.
