Mine would involve travel, websites, music, cool coworkers, and preferably photoshop.
What's your dream job?
Being the front man of a band. This is something I'm already working on. I'm young and I'm aiming for the stars, and if it doesn't work out then I could probably get a job in marketing (which is going to be my major).
Well Stephen Hawking has always been a huge inspiration to me, so something having to do with astrobiology.
"Well Stephen Hawking has always been a huge inspiration to me, so something having to do with astrobiology."I swear I thought this comment was going to say something about being handicapped.
I was ready to lawl, but no dice.
Already work in marketing for a publishing company, also use Photoshop to make ads, Premiere to edit videos, and help with the website for said company. Pretty rad deal, I'm happy. Majored in marketing so I guess it led to where I wanted to be.
"I was going to add to this thread a pool to start taking bets on how many dudes say "game journalism".I'm part of that 1. Journalism interests me, and I love gaming, so bringing the two together would be awesome. I really don't know what my dream job would be to be honest.I bet 1 out of 5."
"Well Stephen Hawking has always been a huge inspiration to me, so something having to do with astrobiology."Dude, what? Stephen Hawking was a theoretical physicist, not an astrobiologist.
Astrobiology is very rad though.
Me, I'd love working as a scientist, with research in physics or pure mathematics. I love teaching, so I'd like to work as a university-level lecturer.
A dream is to be a popularizer of science, bringing the truth of science to people and making math popular with the broad audience.
"turambar35 said:It's not easy, but it will be worth it if I make it. For me the worst thing in the world is seeing all the sickness and suffering and not being able to do anything about it."My dream is to be a surgeon. I'm working my ass of trying to get into medical school."That must be crazy hard. I have a hard time memorizing keyboard shortcuts, let alone the entire human anatomy. "
mine is a fighter pilot in the canadian armed forces, currently working in it, i have some more schooling then im good
"mine is a fighter pilot in the canadian armed forces, currently working in it, i have some more schooling then im good"Wait. Canadian armed forces? That exists?
General reviewer of things really. Yeah its journalism. But of course the dream job would be to review the sports cars, the big hits video games, with being a pornstar on the side.
However, that dream job never is true since you can only get into journalism in one area, so I would probably have to choose, electronic gadgets, cars, or video games and can't have all three.
Still, dream job aside, my true calling I feel I want to make a difference in the world and in journalism (Sorry Journalist people out there) you just report what is there; I rather be the one making the news instead of reporting it.
"CynageN said:I said inspiration, friend. Not hero.. not role model. The foothold he's given us to propel our civilization elsewhere inspires me to want to be a part of it. It just so happens that astronomy has also been an obsession of mine since I was about 9."Well Stephen Hawking has always been a huge inspiration to me, so something having to do with astrobiology."Dude, what? Stephen Hawking was a theoretical physicist, not an astrobiologist.
