I haven't went to McD's in almost a year, but for some reason I really wanted a big mac. I went there, and while I was asked what I wanted to drink, I remembered they had orange Hi-C. I cannot tell you how crazy it is that i've totally written off this drink. Sure it's super sweet.. and not something to drink on a regular basis.. but GODDAMNIT this is SO FUCKING GOOD. (wish i had another) .. What's yours?

#2 Posted by BraveToaster (12590 posts) -

Fuck. I'm trying to eat healthy, but this Big Mac talk is making me want to drive there now.

Ocean Spray's Cran-Grape Juice is my favorite.

Is this limited to what they serve at McDonalds? If so, then I'd stick to the cola...

But I'd fucking kill for some Hawaiian Punch - I haven't had Hawaiian Punch in probably 7-8 hours because I moved to Sweden where the concept of choice with most products is completely alien.

I went to the Harry Potter park at Universal Studios last summer and the Pumpkin Fizz that you can buy at the Three Broomsticks is so good I still think about it. It's like a mix of real pumpkin with some spices and some kind of soda (maybe orange?). It's hard to describe. Be sure to try it of you go. The butter beer is good too but it's basically cream soda with maybe a caramel flavored whip cream on top.

@Axxol:  Good call. It's underrated for sure.
@Lev:  Hours? or years?
@Lemoncookie01:
 Water is good. I tend to only be able to drink water, if it's non stop. If I have anything interrupting the water.. it's hard for me to go back.
@Shadow: One of the few diet sodas I actually don't mind.
@JP_Russell: what in the.. 8x
@Nelander: Ahh coffee.. any preferred way?
@IBurningStar: (see Lemoncookie01)

@FiestaUnicorn: OJ is classic. Where do you find chocolate coconut milk? Sounds interesting.
@McGhee_the_Insomniac: Surprisingly something named Pumpkin Fizz is somehow less scary sounding than whole milk.

Agreed. I used to love them, but I need real burgers.
#15 Posted by FesteringNeon (2158 posts) -
@fwylo: wait... oh crap. : /
@Akeldama: True that. (Zima anyone?)
@Axxol: I meant the cran-grape.. underrated drink. The big macs are crazy. They kinda hit those pleasure receptors.. but then all of a sudden you'll feel ill afterwards. :( I feel like shit. Prob why I haven't had fast food in awhile. Sometimes you just need to be reminded I guess. Agreed on the real burger thing though. Gimme a not-so drenched in grease hand made burger and fresh toppings. Bomb.

Fuck, I you know you need to go to sleep when you confuse underrated for overrated. I read your response like you were saying that McDonalds is overrated. Sorry about that.

I find it at my local supermarket but it's not at all of them.  Where I get it is in the same area as the soy milk.  Soy chocolate milk is not nearly as good.

lol tis all good. :D I feel like I should go for a run or something now, but i'm scared I'll hurl all over if I do. Maybe I could just run to McD's for another orange Hi-C. And yes, McD's is overrated. Their Hi-C is not however! (I will fight anyone to the death that says otherwise.)
@FiestaUnicorn: hmm.. i'll hafta give it a whirl.

Tim Hortons Caramel Ice Cap.

#21 Posted by Mechanical_Ape (242 posts) -

Just plain tea. Usually green or black and always unflavored and unsweetened. I don't like sweet drinks, so I avoid most juices and pops.

#22 Posted by tomte (291 posts) -

Dr. Pepper. If i'm hungover i usually go for Fanta grape or melon soda

#23 Posted by pigmartyr (211 posts) -

Virgil's root beer is pretty fucking good. Stay far away from the diet stuff. That shit is terrible.
 There's also the horchata they serve at el famous burrito in the greater chicago area.
 For a more common place easily accessible drink do yourself a favor and get a vanilla cream Dr. Pepper at sonic. Dr. Pepper + half and half + vanilla. Yum! You will gain about 20 lbs.

#24 Posted by Cobra1 (21 posts) -

Dr. Pepper, too. Undisputed :D

Chocolate milk. If it's fizzy drink then Scwheppes Dry Ginger Ale closely followed by L&P.

Either a good cup of coffee or Goose Island root beer, depending on the time of day.

V8 Fusion - its vegetable and fruit juice combined, but it only tastes like fruit juice! I have a glass of it every morning with breakfast...so good!

A variety of teas, sweetened with honey. On warm days, non-carbonated Ice Tea. And water; at least a bottle a day (0.5 L).

P.S.
I rediscovered tomato juice lately. Preferably microwaved. (Heated tomatoes have more Lycopene in them. Lycopene = a strong antioxidant.)

I think you can only get it in Norway, but I love Solo. It's really just orange soda, but it's the best orange soda I've ever tasted. Other favourite non-alcoholic drink is water.

I don't understand.  Are you saying you don't know what whole milk is and it sounds like something scary, or are you saying it's weird and/or scary for someone to favor whole milk?

Pop. I like most of it, but when given the choice I will always pick one of the following:

  • Coke
  • Sprite
  • Barqs Root Beer

Really depends on my mood, the time of day, etc.

I love my caramel mochas.
Sometimes I crave milk like there's no tomorrow.  Other times, apple juice.  Also, Mt. Dew is a staple in our home.

Graces used to do a really fiery ginger beer and that was awesome but unfortunately they gave
 it a "new milder taste". I bought a 24 pack and was very unhappy. :(

#49 Posted by DrHawking (214 posts) -

I would say water but my favorite flavored drink would be the blue Powerade.

I was going to respond with something similar.

An ice-cold coke with ice is just about the most refreshing drink there is.

Dude who was talking about the Harry Potter park has made me really want to go.
