I think I have a sleeping problem because I always fall asleep late, so I seek help from you Giant-Bombians! (like a normal person would right?) I need you to tell me the time you go to sleep so I can compile them and find the average time, and try to fall asleep by then.
Just in case you're wondering, I fall asleep at around ~ 3:30 - 4:00 A.M.
When Do You Go To Sleep?
Usually around 2am or so.
I know it's bad for my health and all, but over the last few months my sleep routine has been fucked up. It's 2:05am here right now, so i better go! Night ^_^
between 11-12..unless i stay out and sleep at around 3. but usually i just get sleepy, and dont wish to deprive my body.
Im 18 (turning 19 soon). maybe you should take age into consideration
I also have a sleeping problem, so I really can't give you a time as it's very rare for me to actually get a proper night's sleep I just ended up falling asleep in spots throughout the day and having fucked up dreams and waking up and feeling shit.
EDIT: I'm probably more of a night person anyway, which might be part of my problems as you're generally expected to be awake in the day, also if you're taking age I'm 18
I have really messed up sleep patterns. I never go to sleep before 2am, but often don't get to sleep till 4 or even 5. And then i normally don't wake up the next day till well after 11 or 12. Sometimes later.
Usually between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM on weekdays, waking up at 7:00 AM.
And you guys really need to read this Wikipedia article on Polyphasic sleep. Heard about it on the latest Irrational Behavior podcast, and it's really interesting. Basically, you can be awake during more time of your day if you separate your sleep via 30 minute cycles, for a total of 2 hours per day, instead of one big chunk at night. I'd try it, if school didn't prevent me from trying.
9:00pm if I'm working the next day. But then again, I work at 5:00am on irregular days. On nights where there is no work the next day and I haven't been awake since 4:30am, probably around 11. Can't let my sleep schedule drift too much, unfortunately.
i don't have a regular sleeping schedule. it goes along with what i do for a living. yesterday, for instance, i got up at 0200mst, and went to bed at 1445mst, and then got back up at 2215. i've been awake since last night, and i'll probably go to bed some time in the evening. it all depends on the workload.
I used to be a late night person say 1am - 3am
Now with work and an actual life, I still go to be much later than my partner (she goes to bed around 9ish). I go to bed around 11 - 12, usually around quarter to 12. I get up for work at 6 or quarter to 6 so 6 hours sleep is enough for me.
I seriously hate mornings, so I found the perfect workaround. Going to bed at around 6-7PM means waking up at 12AM or 1AM. Thus I can be awake when I need to be, without actually having to wake up. It's easy enough to fall asleep at 6-7PM if you stay up for >24 hours.
My schedule is gradually drifting back to normal (that is, going to bed around 11PM and waking up at 5AM.), so I'll need to 'recenter' it soon.
Hmm depends... I have a job and a ton of sleep issues, so usually I resort to grass to help me sleep. With that, I usually crash at 11:30 or so, and gives me a great sleep, otherwise, I tend to fall asleep around 2, but the room has to be pitch friggin' black, and the temperature cool, otherwise it'll take me hours to fall asleep. That's why I've been sleeping in my basement recently.
Depends. Sometimes I stay up for two days. And sometimes I get on a schedule. I haven't gone to bed yet, unless you consider an hour of dozing off. As of the past few days I've been going to bed around 8-11:30. I've been getting out of the habit of sleeping during the day. Better that way. Much more refreshing and it feels better to wake in the morning when things are happening, rather then night, where I can think more and relax, as well as not worry about the daily stuff that goes on. But that's not necessarily a good thing. Ehh, I'm going to get Starbucks...
" When I have school at about 00:00 - 01:00 on weekends or holidays it easily gets 03:00 - 05:00 "this
" ...for a total of 2 hours per day...I am pretty sure that's 3 hours. The bottom pic.
"
When I'm not working I try to go to bed around 3-4AM and up around 1-2PM. When I'm at work I get home around 5ish AM so I usually go to bed around 6-6.30AM and wake up around 3PM. Being a graveyard shift worker for years and years now this is the way I function the best. Trying to go to bed early often results in no sleep at all that night. On the rare occasion I can be up around 7-8AM or even go to bed as early as 1-2AM but that does not happen very often.
