No, playing sitting sideways does....

The true way to play games, with Drew posture.

Leaning back is the more relaxed state, so...

It depends on what I'm doing. If it's a mostly passive activity like watching a movie, I'm probably leaning back. If it's something I'm more actively engaged in like playing a video game or responding to e-mails, I typically sit more upright or lean forward.

Lean back, all the way back like a jellyfish.

I like whatever you like. Right now I'm sitting forward but I can sit back if you want me to.

Leaning forward. If I'm leaning back it's because I'm bored and about to fall asleep.

Ass on chair is my favorite position.

my gut reaction was "of course the answer is Leaning Back"

but then I saw that picture of Drew and I just don't know anymore... I don't wanna let Drew down.

I normally have my feet up on the chair im sitting on, or i basically lay down by putting my feet on the wall, so neither option really applies for me.

I think I read somewhere that leaning back is actually better healthwise or something than sitting straight up or leaning forward. I lean back, so I hope that's true.

Lean back....lean back....

I alternate between the two, but leaning back is definitely more comfortable.

At some point you have to wonder if Drew is an alien from a race of perfect posture. I have never seen anyone else who can sit with their back so damn straight for so long. EDIT: Or maybe that's symptomatic of common elements of modern cultures, e.g. spending lots of time in comfortable chairs.

Guess I'm an outsider, my preferred seating position is legs crossed on the chair, leaning forward, hand resting in a hand not doing anything.

Backward.

What about leaning sideways?

though technically it's leaning back since I am leaning to the back of the chair, but whatever.

Leaning back.

I already am starting to have back problems from years of poor posture.

Forward. Hand on on chin.

I feel awful for laughing at all this.

I think I tend to sit pretty straight most of the time... but considering that I lean forward whenever I use the mouse, type, lean on the desk, or look closely at the screen to read something (mediocre eyesight) I guess you could say I lean forward.

I maintain proper posture most of the time. Sitting down in the wrong position is almost worse for your body than not exercising or eating McDonalds.

Seiza, provided you have no nerves in your legs.

#29 Posted by Twinsunian (34 posts) -

Back, legs crossed.

#30 Posted by Dark (356 posts) -

The one that I know is going to give me back problems but god damn if its not comfortable right now.

#31 Posted by Mezmero (1644 posts) -

I could use a new chair.

#32 Posted by FateOfNever (1758 posts) -

I can go either way actually, it all depends on what I'm doing. If anything I think I actually don't like sitting in the same position for any real period of time.

I lean forward way too often for a guy with back problems. I really should break that habit before it bites me in the ass ten years from now. It's just so damn comfy in the short term.

#34 Posted by SomeJerk (2970 posts) -

If I lean forwards, I either sniping with pixel precision in some action game or too wasted to sit properly. You know what it's like.

(I visited IKEA a few weekends ago, the FINGAL chair ($40) was a positive surprise. Recommended for a cheap but fine chair)

The healthiest and most comfortable way is to sit Indian-style while sitting directly on top of one of your feet and have your big toe inserted slightly into your anus.
