Man, this movie looks AMAZING!!!  Check it out for yourself.  Definitely going to see this after what this trailer has shown:

...I've never read the book as a kid. Will it still mean anything to me now that I'm not six? Cause uh, I didn't find the trailer very appealing.

I was completely unaware of it.  I'm usually the only one that seems to give a damn about this movie, and my search function didn't return any results.

Before the thread gets locked, Jakob, what makes this movie look appealing to you? The fact that this looks like a quality film, or is it just the nostalgia talking?

I wasn't aware of it either...IT does look amazing! 

Edit: I just looked and it's set to come out on my birthday :)

yeah old. but it looks cool, interesting, but nothing amazing! the movie could be sooo many things, that trailer did show us much at all, just how awesome they made everything look and the probability of great acting.
