So i live in the UK and just discovered there was a anime site that i could sub to to watch a bunch of anime shows on at a decent quality and so on called crunchyroll.

I've seen at least a few notable anime shows such as

Death note,

Naruto,

100 episodes of bleach,

Soul Eater,

Bamboo Blade

FMA/Brotherhood

and maybe a few more i don;t remember, right now im watching Sword Art Online which seems pretty fun.

The site has allot of new and older stuff and 90% of the stuff is mostly all subbed which is fine, but other than the ones ive mentioned since that's most of the no brainier anime stuff most people know about i don;t know what else to check out once im done with SAO so id love to get any good suggestions so i can get right to the good stuff instead of just guessing my way around. Thanks for anyone helping me out.

I've never watched anime in my entire life and never really had interest in it, but I got turned onto Attack On Titan and I really enjoy it.

Gintama........ Black Lagoon..... Welcome to the NHK..... Baccano...... Elfen Lied.... Mushishi.... Berserk.... Hellsing... and of course... Kenshin OVAs

I could go on and on... but these ones are at least friendly to anyone with a cursory interest in watching some damn anime, which I don't recommend by the way. I want to say, when Naruto is at its peak, it's one of the best anime there is, and it's a damn shame that it's ruined by having so much filler. Same for One Piece, it has less filler but the main stuff isn't always top notch. Just when it is, it really is. YEAH. Naruto is good! (when it's good I mean)

Attack on Titan is the only anime I've been watching recently, but it's been pretty good so far and it's on Crunchyroll.

Attack on Titan is pretty great. I finished Aku no Hana a week ago, which I enjoyed, though it is not action which seems to be what you're looking for from what you listed.. Can't really recommend anything else right now since I'm just rewatching older anime that I never finished.

I don't know man, I've only watched as little as you, since most of the shows suck a dick, including the popular ones. One Piece is amazing at times but at 606 episodes it's sort of a big time commitment, but at least there's very little filler.

I'm currently working my way through Cowboy Bebop. I would recommend watching that!

Also has one of the greatest intros of all time:

@jareda: Yeah, Cowboy Beepop is pretty great. And as long as we're including older stuff, Ghost in the Shell is another one of the better animes I've seen.

Neither are available on Crunchyroll though.

I don't know what they have, or what crunchyroll's release schedule is like but if your looking for a currently airing anime check out Shingeki No Kyojin (Attack on Titan) It seems to be the surprise hit this season. Short description: GIANT CANNIBALISTIC HUMANS TAKE OVER WORLD.

Your off to an outstanding start with what you listed out above, good anime's.

Putting this out there as it's my favorite anime: Katanagatari. In short; It's the story of a young man and woman on a quest to collect 12 magic swords scattered across feudal japan. It's filled with colorful characters, a strong narrative and a wonderful art style. Also, it's only 12 ,45 minute long, episodes. so it's not hard to power through. And I recommend it to anyone looking to get into anime or who's already into it and hasn't heard about it.

Other Recommendations:

Panty and Stocking, it's not porn, I assure you. It just comes close at times. It's about two angels who get kicked out of heaven for... bad deeds... and who can only get back in after busting up enough bad ghosts to pay off they're debt, or something like that. If you want to dive head long into insane anime's look no further.

I've watched way to much anime in the last five or so years so I actually can't list off everything I've scene off the top of my head or describe it all.

Have fun.

@yillb: Oh really? I've been meaning to watch it again, but ever since Netflix dropped it I've been too lazy to track it down elsewhere.

I enjoyed Yu Yu Hakusho. I've been watching some One Piece, and it seems ok, not really all that far in with it.

There seems to be a disturbing lack of Gurren Lagann recommendations in this thread...

Otherwise I'd just chime in with another Attack on Titan recommendation, if you want something current.
