Also Angry Joe is pretty terrible. Even though I'll sometimes agree with what he's saying (like his 'reasons why Fable 3 sucks' video), the way he goes about it all is so fucking annoying and obnoxious.
People seem to have alot of hate for angry joe. Now people are pissed about his sleeping dogs review. Everyone has there own style when it comes to reviewing games.

This guy's pretty good... I didn't know who he was before clicking this thread, but if his other reviews are as good as this one he'll give VGK a run for his non money that he's making sense he's not a professional. Does anybody else think he sounds like a super mellow Matt Kessler?
Spoony used to be alright but he's gotten behind a lot due to helping other people with their videos too much letting his own content die slowly. Life and health issues have added to this as well. I still recommend his older stuff though.
Angry Joe can be annoying sometimes, but he's a cool guy so I watch his stuff every once in a while. I'm glad he's so popular these days (averaging 100k plus views) but I can often completely disagree with him on something and also see a lot of things he doesn't actually understand about the video game industry from time to time. His vision is often clouded by his idea of corporations that are "evil" and that can sometimes get real old. Still, he has good intent and I like what he does.
AVGN (angry video game nerd) used to be pretty big on that front but he is less focused on that show these days and started coming out so infrequently I stopped watching altogether. Still really interested in the movie though.
I cant really think of any one else worth watching. Most people that try to do it are completely uninteresting to watch or have really dumb reasoning behind their arguments. Most common problem is there is a lack of energy or they are just mimicking public response without adding anything worth hearing about something.
@Dixavd: Professional reviewers generally have an actual company funding their site. Amateur reviewers are basically some dude off youtube. Anyone can review, and be paid to do it due to things like blip.tv or google ads, but there is a noticeable difference in quality between a professional review and non professional. Adding a sketch to your review, while it can be funny, is unnecessary for example. Most amateur reviews are watched because they're more like sketch comedy shows with a review in there- more so than because the guy has salient points (a large majority of popular ones are satire and not even a real opinion). You watched in the first place because someone told you it was funny or because it got promoted on the front page of youtube or blip or something.
This does not make their work any less good, worth watching, or creative but for me defines professional versus amateur.
The only video I've watched by Angry Joe is the one where he bitches about his 3 minute interview with Geoff Keighley for half an hour.
That was enough to convince me to never watch an Angry Joe video again.
Also, don't import Max Anarchy. The online is a large component of the game but trying to get into a match is a complete fucking nightmare. It's a pretty cool game but the single player is way too short to warrant a $90 purchase. Wait for whatever kind of western release Sega ends up doing.
Besides posting my own channel, I'm going to go with VideoGameDunkey, he's one of the funniest guys around, he has a lot of League of Legends stuff but he does tonnes of other stuff too. JonTron also does some great reviews, he has his own gags but doesn't get carried away with them.

Honestly, I don't find internet reviewers terribly funny most of the time. I forgot Yahtzee existed and now that I've remembered, without a shadow of a doubt it's him.
If we're talking about HUMOROUS reviews (not saying Yahtzee isn't, but there's a difference), not really critical and made for the sake of comedy, then it's The Angry Video Game Nerd.
Tim Rogers, his 10,000 word review of FF XIII and subsequently why it is so terrible was pretty amazing. Other than that I just generally enjoy his style. You can check some of his work out on Kotaku or his reviews on actionbutton.net.

I have no idea who Spoony or Angry Joe are. Also, I haven't really paid any attention to reviews in years. I look on Metacritic to see what the general consensus is, skim user reviews, etc. Generally I already know whether or not I'm going to buy a game by the time it releases anyways.
Oh yeah, I kinda ordered Anarchy Reigns off Play-Asia after rewatching that Matt review. I didn't catch that the 360 version was region free as well (Achievement whore that I am, I seldom get multiplats on my Tripple). Plus even at a hundred bucks plus shipping, it more or less cost the same as we normally pay for a retail game here in Norway. Gotta love that exchange rate
Classic Game Room on youtube. Guy never has much bad to say but he seems to enjoy everything in life so that's nice to see a non-cynical person for once.
Definitely Mark from Classic Game Room. He is fucking great. There's also a lot of YouTube channels I watch a lot, even though some of them are not the greatest, it's kind of fun to get a perspective from someone who is obviously not a professional, and just likes to make a lot of videos and reviews for fun. I like Pete Dorr, The Vintage Video Game Geek, MAMECADE, Gamester81. Also, for comedy's sake, not really information, I go with the AVGN. The episodes can sometimes be hit or miss, and the humor is a bit juvenile, but the guy is a film nut at heart, and he really puts a ton of effort into his stuff. I mean he quit his job a few years ago and is now working on the AVGN movie, so I really like to follow and root for him.
