And don't post Freddie Mercury. He's a given, and you post him once and the whole thread will just be people agreeing with you.

I pick Cedric Bixler-Zavala. Few people can put as much passion and energy into their vocals as this guy. Just listen to any of the songs from The Mars Volta's first two albums and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Has to be Freddie Mecury but Jimmy Pop (Bloodhound Gang) or Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) always entertained me when I was young.

ReTarDedFisHy picks M. Shadows (of Avenged Sevenfold) and Ben Burnley (of Breaking Benjamin)

Benjamin for his melodic vocals that made Breaking Benjamin famous.
This guy's voice is great. Period.
It's hard to pick a favorite song, but I think it has to be "Forget It"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V54XBiOEuyc

M. Shadows because he's absolutely ripped (jk, haha) and he actually has a nice voice for a Hard Rock band.
ReTarDedfisHy knows lots of people hate on A7X because they moved away from Metalcore, but ReTarDedFisHy is glad they did.
Screaming like an idiot < Screaming like a rock star
Nice singing voice too, like in "Dear God"

The second part.
I'm not a big fan of your musical tastes either, but that's a "to each their own" thing.  I dug A7X from Waking the Fallen and before, and Breaking Benjamin is just fine with me...especially Saturate.

I mean, after all...I float among a shallow bay, lift me up until the ground gives way, I'm a California castaway....and the rest describes me perfectly.  = D

I love The Pixies, but I wouldn't cite his singing as one of the better elements of the band. His songwriting is of much higher quality than his voice.

Yeah, Maynard is great, but still, I hold Robb Flynn on some of the highest ground that exists.  The dood is COMPLETELY about his music and his fans, and on top of which, he's the frontman for what is probably one of the most underrated and still underground metal bands to ever exist:  Machine....fucking....Head.

Feast your eyes upon "Descend The Shades of Night" and tell me this dood isn't a thorough fucking badass:

Machine Head was there when Pantera and Sepultura were there.  Machine Head IS metal.  Hell, I can remember when I bought the Burn My Eyes album...I was 10.  That shit changed my life.  Well, that and Cowboys From Hell.

DualReaver shouldn't criticize others taste in music.
Does DualReaver have the attention span of a retarded fish or something?
Can he not hold his hateful comments?
Must he always try to crash and burn others?

Haha, good thing that ReTarDedFisHy knows a thing or two about music.
And one of them is that each individual has a very different taste in music.

Edit: @Gunner:
Nope. He can't. They deny it, but he doesn't even sing the Waking the Fallen songs as they should anymore.

This is a misled statement by someone who shops at Hot Topic far too much.  Next thing I know, you'll tell me you like BOO also....or Winds of Plague.  Probably Job for a Cowboy.

Only acceptable grindcore band is The Faceless, and that's because they know what they are doing.  Please, for the love of God, listen to real grind instead of this wannabe sickness spreading across the planet.

Yes, I played the "music elitest" card.

That is correct, sir.  = D  Those guys, by the way, put on the most depressing live show I've ever seen.  I wanted to slit wrists and hold hands with my girlfriend after that...but the music is still fine by me.

Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.  He's one of those singers that have mastered the sonic-scream (like Prince, Bruce Dickinson, and Rob Halford), which I just prefer over the demonic sounding growls that come out of  some of today's music.  His onstage antics never fail to entertain me as well. I also enjoy the vocals of James LaBrie of Dream Theater, Axle Rose, and Freddy Mercury (even though you said to avoid him) for similar reasons.
