Why are the most viewed videos on youtube garbage??

How come when ever i see the most viewed videos on youtube, they are always just boring, stupid videos??
Just like the most subscribed youtubers, they have such boring trashy videos. How the heck do they get so many subscribers?

Do that many people actually find that garbage funny??
I saw 2 famous youtubers videos recently (I only clicked on them because it was about the toronto explosion) and they actually stole someones footage of the explosion.
They tell everyone they were in Toronto when that happened and then they steal someone elses video.

What the heck is wrong with these people?
They make stupid fucking videos, then they go and steal someone elses videos just so they can gain all kinds of views and get featured.

So how come people these days enjoy to watch garbage??
How come so many people these days will believe anything they are told by people who are more famous then them?
How come the famous people these days are always so stupid and never have any talent?
