Why did they stop making polaroid film?

i was just wondering why

Wasn't profitable anymore with digital cameras so popular.

Outkast destroyed all the polaroid pictures by shaking them, those bastards

It's a bummer, because taking digital pictures in a hotel room just doesn't have the same grubby cache.

Because you could crush up the film and use it to make nuclear devices

Because digital cameras have better resolution and therefore take better ransom pictures.............I mean uh................. nevermind.

A company actually is starting to produce them again, but they're hellaexpensive.
