Ryan has stated that he would support Vinny in his potential cover-it-up endeavor. Ryan said he would make an oath not to bring it up. Would you support a friend who wished to wear a wig or toupee? I had a friend with alopecia who wore a wig. I was OK with her doing that.
Would You Support a Friend Who Decided to Wear a Wig or Toupee?
I believe that people should just accept whatever they look like, but I believe even more that people should do whatever the fuck they want, so yeah I'd support him/her

What if how they look makes them uncomfortable. For example, let's say a person is messed up pretty badly in a bad wreck like my sister was. She underwent surgery to get back to a look that was more acceptable to her. What about a woman who gets breast implant surgery because she's lost her breasts to cancer?
I guess I get what you guys are saying. Just adding rhetoric. Not necessarily needing an answer.
Vindog can do what Vindog wanna do, but I personally think he'd be better off going the shaved head and goatee route to look even more like a badarse motherfucker.
But yeah, I wouldn't wear one myself if I go bald, but I wouldn't bag someone for it either. I would, however, tell them if it looked bad, as I think friends do that as well.

I have no problem at all with people who do any of the things you mentioned, I'm just implying that I don't think I personally would do it. If making some cosmetic change to their appearance makes people feel more comfortable in their social lives then more power to them, they can do whatever they want.
Also I was posting this with the wearing a wig to hide alopecia situation in mind, not the same thing if someone's whole face gets fucked up beyond recognition in a wreck.
No, and I would try my best to actively discourage them from wearing a wig. I agree people should be able to wear whatever they want, but that's not the world we live in.

Ive have friends that wear wigs for various reasons, its hard to support the whole "Go bold, Go bald" idea when they are about 20 (and in one case female).
I get what you're saying. I'd say the mantra is hard at any age for somebody who's going through it; certainly, it would be at the age your referencing. J Allard probably would have gone through it if he was human.
I've bought wigs/toupees for people as gifts so I'd imagine that's an automatic yes. As odd as it sounds they're great gifts. Especially for bald people who you may or may not insult but who cares about that?
Edit: Let's take this a step further...south. Merkins anyone?
I don't believe in 'em. Work with what you've got, looks aren't important anyway. So I guess I'd try to talk them out of it if they were thinking about it but be supportive if they had just done it, because I'm not an asshole.
Yeah, if that's what they want to do, sure. If that's how they feel comfortable, then I support them. I'll even pretend not to notice.
Yes, wearing a wig would open him up to ridicule, but that's not my decision to make. At any rate, most people don't point it out, at least not to the person's face.
I'd make fun of him, and this coming from a guy who's slowly losing hair. I mean unless he was some crazy fucking rockstar and the wig was ironic or whatever. Because seriously, that shit will always be retarded. Just shave head=the only victory
