Not sure if this is already a thread, and I kind of forgot how to search for topics, weird. Anyway, I was reading through the Top 3 games thread and a song came on and I realised it probably is my favourite song ever. So, I ask the community, what is yours? I was going to ask for a top 3, but I feel as that would be too hard to put in order and the likes, I know I couldn't.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside

My Sharona - The Knack

I can't quite tell if it's an ironic favourite or not, but it always makes me feel better.

Muse - Plug In Baby
For some reason that song always makes me happy.

#9 Posted by Baillie (4576 posts) -

@ZeForgotten: MY PLUG IN BAILLIE. That's what I always sing. So does Matt.

Oh man. This is hard. It'll probably be something different each day. But, today, the one that came to mind was this:

It has a really cool, relax sound and mixes electronic music and rock really well.

According to last.fm, it's Life's A Bitch by Nas, which I think is pretty accurate, too difficult to say for sure though.

But this is probably a close second place.

For the longest time I used to answer this with Right in Two by Tool, but I think Fair To Midland's The Greener Grass may have overtaken it.

Carry On My Wayward Son - Kansas.

"Music Box" by Thrice.

First runners-up are "Pyramid Song" by Radiohead, "Living Together" by Circa Survive, "Staralfur" by Sigur Ros, and "Invalid Litter Dept." by At the Drive-In.

@Baillie: No he doesn't why would he even sing something tha...
I mean, yeah you're right. Now that I think about it I read a magazine once where Matt totally dropped your name in an interview saying that "the song is made for this one person"

The Magazine doesn't exist anymore though, so just take my word for it.

Hard to say since it changes around among a select few.

Right now, Ravel's "Boléro".

It's tough to pick between all of the great songs on Loveless, but if I had to I'd go with When You Sleep.

All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem. It's funny, it's sad, it's poignant, but I still want to dance to it.

I couldn't possibly choose, but since last.fm has been brought up...

According to last.fm (which... whatever), my most listened to song since July 26, 2006 is Wrapped Up in Books by Belle and Sebastian. 67 plays out of a total of almost 60,000, so I don't know how meaningful that is. I will say this: it's a good song, and Belle and Sebastian is the shit, but this is in no way my favorite song of theirs... or of all time.

Just did some Spotify research on what's up with Dendemann, the rapper of the defunct Eins Zwo. I declare this to be my favorite song of all time, right now...

@Chop: Good choice!

No definite favorite I guess but this is always one of the first that comes to mind when the question comes up.
