What are you top 3 albums? only one album per band
1. My Dinosaur Life - Motion City Soundtrack
Death Cab For Cutie- Transatlanticism- Transatlanticism
Vampire Weekend- Vampire Weekend- The Kids Don't Have a Chance
- Contra- Horchata.
1. Boston - Boston
a. Peace of Mind
2. Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? - Megadeth
b. Good Mourning/Black Friday
3. Because of The TImes - Kings of Leon
c. Black Thumbnail
Arcade Fire's Funeral--Rebellion (Just because it's the best song for standalone listening. The entirety of the album is consistently fantastic, though)
Weezer's Blue Album--Only in Dreams
Radiohead's OK Computer--No Surprises (Kid A and OK Computer are pretty even in their fantastic-ness, but if we're talking best for an individual song, I'd have to go for OK Computer)
Note that these are only the three top albums I could currently think of.
1. The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me -- Brand New
Foo Fighters/Colour & The Shape - Everlong
Barenaked Ladies/Stunt - Light Up My Room
Eric Hutchinson/Sounds Like This - You Don't Have To Believe Me
Interesting choices so far: I honestly didn't expect many GiantBomb users to listen to the Arcade Fire or Vampire Weekend.
It goes without saying, that these favorite albums and songs of mine can change on a daily basis, as they depend on the mood I'm in, the level of hype I'm currently a victim of etc. For example, if you were to ask me anytime later this evening, I'd probably pick The Nation's newest album, and a song called I'm Afraid of Everyone from it, as my favorite album, reclining back on an armchair and being perfectly depressed, for a while. But here goes nothing:
Colossal Youth by Young Marble Giants, N.I.T.A.
Suicide (1980 re-release) by Suicide, I Remember
Meat is Murder (despite the awful title track) by The Smiths, Nowhere Fast
Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon- Brain Damage/Eclipse
Gorillaz- Demon Days- All Alone
Interpol- Antics- Slow Hands
DSotM is definitely the best album i've ever heard, every single song is perfect in my mind, the other two on my list can change periodically depending on my mood.

Anaal Nathrakh - When Fire Rains Down from the Sky, Mankind Will Reap As It Has Sown (2003)
there's no way i could name just three albums, and even if i could i'd have a hard time picking one track from each. so i won't
all i'll say is i've been enjoying quite a bit of g.g.allin. especially scumfuck tradition and when i die.
edit: still, it's not the best ever. just really quite good right now.
Quadrophenia - The Who
-Bell Boy
Making Movies - Dire Straits
-Tunnel of Love
Charge!! (One year anniversary edition) - The Aquabats

I just listed a song from each album as that is what I was instructed to do but these albums really don't have any bad songs on them so it doesn't really matter what songs I put down.
